hello
Hi everyone!
Just wanted say hello, and say that I'm glad to have come across this forum! Its been a long time coming for me to finally become a fan of Chuck's work. I picked up Survivor about 8 months ago and have since read all of his books except for "Rant" and "Snuff", which I will definitely get to as soon as I finish "Pygmy". I'm 31 years old, lived in the Chicagoland area all my life, and have been a reader as long as I can remember, but this past year or so, I've been reading more than ever after a few years of barely touching books. I owe alot to Chuck for getting me going again.
I first heard Chuck's name after seeing the Fight Club movie almost 10 years ago, and after reading Survivor last year, I feel like I've found something that I've been looking for all my life. Chuck's novels seem to speak to me in a way that very few other works of art have. His books have made my life better. I've enjoyed all his novels that I've read, but my favorite one so far has been "Invisible Monsters".
All my best to you all, and I'm looking forward to participating in this forum.
Welcome aboard.
Brace yourself.

Hi Tron, welcome to the FORUM.

Creepy, I'm 31 and also from the Chicagoland area. Depending on your next answer we will be friends or mortal enemies. White Sox or Cubs?
Also, welcome... maybe.

we have this friend and we used to call him fagtron 3000 when he wasn't around. when he was around, we called him 'tron' for short. he had no idea why. anyway, anytime i see your name i'll think of that, no offense.
Thanks for the welcome, all!
Smartazboy - I'm not much of a baseball fan. I hope we can find peace together being Bears fans?
Too bad he already sent private investigators and knows all about your Cubs decals/stickers/poster/t-shirt/tattoo on your car/mailbox/door/wife/forehead.
Step back. Evaluate. Recognize.
Go Bears!
If you're right MCDrake, then me and Tron will get along great.

hey tron im pretty new too. I really felt that connection when i first read fight club and survivor. I loved the humor and parody of religion, but also how I can connect to some of the social aspects of his books. Anyway, enjoy being a member and see you around the cult!
