Just joined, but wanted to introduce myself. I found the site while falling into a Wiki Hole (y'know, where you look up something high-minded on the Wikipedia and then end up on a page about pasties). What really prompted me to join was the writer's workshop.
I've been a long time fan of Chuck. I first read "Fight Club" and then immediately OD'd on everything else I could get my hands of inside of roughly a week. Then I promptly had a panic attack because that level of talent made me feel woefully inadequate.

many ah member has felt that after reading all of chuck's books, that all you can do is wait for the next chuck book. but fuck that. in the meantime, there is a page here of chuck's favorite reads.
i say clevenger and baer, cormac mccarthy. amy hempel. david benioff's first novel, and susanna moore. ellis' less than zero and american psycho. you'll find many great reads here.
so welcome. stay away from the lobster. (it isnt that good anyway.) and wish cujo well. that's the cat that derek belongs to and has been going through some sickness for a little while. and have fun. if youre headed to the workshop in the near future, i'll see you there over and over again.
