Greeting to my fellow fanatics!!
Hi everyone,
My name is Richard, I'm 24 and currently living in Birmingham, Uk which is cool as it's like London except nicer.
Currently I work as a Till Monkey Extrodinare, which provides great inspiration for the writing it has to be said.
I study'd Film Studies in college and met my partner in crime Avangilina, who I founded "Brainstew Productions" with which now covers pretty much all our assorted projects.
I first came across Chuck's work when I picked up "Fight Club" not being old enough at the time, to see the film version and was captivated by his style of writing, which I found similar to Bret Easton Ellis who also like Chuck has a unique world view.
If I was to choose a favourite I would be torn between Fight club and Choke. I'm also a big fan of Haunted though wasn't overly into Diary, even though it did have a few good moments.
Outside of obsessing over the books of my favourite authors, which are Bret Easton Ellis, Hunter S Thompson, Craig Clevenger, Elizabeth Wurtzel & of course Chuck Palahnuik.
I'm a huge film fanatic, especially when it comes to Cult and Foreign Cinema, with a Tarantino like devotion.
I love making Mixtapes and collecting records.
Also the founder (and most likely sole member) of The "We Love Colette Hiller Club" (She played Cpl. Ferro in Aliens)
Im joking, Enjoy your stay here you have good taste in authors
My friend Claire lives in Ireland....Do you know her??
Sorry couldn't resist it, seeing as when ever I say I live in Birmingham when I go back to Cornwall, people keep asking me if I know such and such abody!!
So, Richard, is the concept of a teleological suspension of the ethical even necessary in a thoroughly amoral world?

Ahh a Douglas Adams fan!!
Yeah I love that guy too, Hitchikers was such a revolution for me as it was sci fi without the perfection and plus Marvin rocks!!
Welcome to the cult. Go down to General Discussion and join in the festivities!

Everyone always says how great the books are and I hope they are, because that movie stunk pretty badly and didn't make me even want to bother looking into any of the books
The book was better.. the narrator was the best part of it, sort of like in a Vonnegut novel, and they pretty much left him out of the movie ( at least from what I can remember).
Hi Richard, welcome!
Still havn't seen the film, but wore out my copys of the TV series and audio tapes
hello and welcome

Hi! Sorry Brum is not like London (London is about 50 times bigger for a start, not to mention there actually being stuff to do etc).
Anyway, I hope you're enjoying the city - I also spent my time in Brum as a till monkey - I hope (for your sake) you don't work at HMV.
Nope I work for World News at Birmingham International Airport

Hello and Welcome,
