First lazy kid comes in at 3:oo today,
I give something easy like "Oh when the saints" to learn in a week, and the eleven year old kid tries explaining why he couldn't learn it in the last four weeks because he was busy.

they stopped sending notices a month or two ago.

Something about Good Friday's making me exercise all sorts of biblical knowledge i keep stored up in my head. Not really sure why it's all there or how it all got there, to be honest. Very little about the bible holds any interest for me or to me, but, there it is, just floating about, waiting for someone to mention a name that people aren't named anymore.

I get facial reconstruction surgery more often than every 2 years, you wouldn't be able to keep up with me to possibly jump me.
As for vocations, I never really had one. Of course I love the piano, but I'm impatient with kids. As long as I get money out of their parents, I seem to mind less. I don't really love the authors, I like the books they write.

I used to pay at least around twenty for my own lessons as a kid.
Half the kids I try to teach, however, put no effort in learning.
I'd feel bad taking money for nothing...especially since the parents have faith in these children and no idea that they're wasting money.

I sure do tell the parents that the kids must at least play a half hour a day,
I assign songs by writing dates at the top of the sheet.
I tell the parents to even check their kid's books.
You wouldn't believe the excuses the parents think up when I inform them Jimmy wasn't prepared.

I can't imagine finding someone that would teach piano for $10 a session. That would make me work even harder, knowing that the teacher was spending their time for so little money - I wouldn't want to disappoint. Also, I would probably buy you gifts to make up for the difference. I can't imagine people not putting in some effort when you're working for so little. I suppose many people think differently than I do though.
