Hello everyone. I've been a member of the Cult for sometime now, but I never actually posted anything on the site. After seeing Choke yesterday (which I really enjoyed), I decided that the time had come to actually get back into the site and introduce myself.
So yeah, I love Pahalniuk. I admire the way he explores existential themes in his literature and his ability to create sympathy for even the most reprehensible characters. I also like the way he ends a lot of novels with a somewhat hopeful ending. Although his books are largely dark, I guess I don't see as much cynicsym in them as a lot of people tend to.
So, anyone here read House of Leaves?
