FNG again.
Hello everyone!
Chuck's writing is inspiring. It rips away the mainstream facades and you get to see the shiny squishy bits and it resonates.
I was on the Cult a couple of yrs. ago. fer like a month. I don't know what my old handle was, I forgot. Left, cuz didn't have enough time to devote to the writing workshops. Now I do and I'm kinda excited to start writing more and checking out the talent.
Stats: writer, knitter, nerd, 37. Born in Korea. Raised in the Midwest. Now in SF. former dirty punk rock dork/sex worker, now in mgmt. @ a green start-up.
If I know ya' send me a PM & we can play catch up.
Hello and welcome. Would you like some lobster? (sorry Xec)
Heya - thanx for the welcome & the offer o' lobster.
The cat question:
Any/all names are good names for cats. Because they ignore you regardless of what you call them.
You should like the name, your cat doesn't speak or understand the same language, anyhow.
Authors I like other than the obvious, in no particular order:
Dorothy Allison, Hubert Selby, Jr., Banana Yoshimoto, Christiana Langenberg, Bill Brent, Carol Queen, Shar Rednour, Cara Bruce, Bret Easton Ellis, Su Tong, Koushun Takami, Virginie Despentes, Tristan Taormino, Katharine Dunne, Clive Barker, Barry Gifford, Linda Barry, Hanne Blank, Cara Bruce, David &; Amy Sedaris, Thomas Roche, Simon Sheppard, Kirk Read, Pat Califia, James Ellroy, Rex Miller, etc.
And you?
