*drum roll* Hi from the Newbie
Hi the name's Adeline. I'm a 20 year old uni student living in Australia.
I started reading Chuck Palahniuk's books in high school after my friend thrust Bret Easton Ellis' Less Than Zero in my face telling me to read it, which I ended up enjoying and asking them what other reading suggestions they had and them giving me Fight Club to read and I've been hooked since.
Some sandwiches should have pickles, some chopped black olives, but I digress.
Welcome!
My favorite Chuck book is Invisible Monsters. Yours?
Besides Clevenger and Baer that Berto ^^ already mentioned, I'd like to add A.M Homes, Stephen Graham Jones, Craig Davidson and Thom Jones to your TBR pile.
Hi, you!
If you could do anything RIGHT NOW what would it be?
in addition to all those other authors suggested i would like to add Henry Miller, Knut Hamsun and Don Martin.
also, welcome.
Thanks for the suggestions I shall check them out.
My perfect sammich would be on soy and linseed bread filled with lettuce, tomato, grated carrot, scrambled eggs, bacon and japanese mayonnaise. Or cream cheese, dill, rocket salad leaves and smoked salmon on white bread.
If could do anything right now I'd be walking around some quaint city in Europe, pity I live halfway across the world.
Favourite Chuck Palahniuk book, can't really pick one, haven't read all of his books yet they're a right pain trying to find in Australia.
Welcome, possessed girl. :] I don't have any intriguing questions to ask you, so I hope you enjoy your time at the Cult.
also, welcome.
i thought i had established myself as the henry miller jehoveh's witness. i made so many pamphlets.....
oh yes and welcome. all this sammich talk makes me hungry.
and cormac mccarthy, and poppy z brite, and junot diaz
and denis johnson, and mark richard, and david benioff's first one
hey, welcome to the cult
there are plenty of chuck's books on eBay, probably several on sale from members in australia. less than zero is my woman's favorite book. bret recently did an interview with dennis and that interview can be read here:
http://chuckpalahniuk.net/interviews
the interview is fascinating because it offers a glimpse into his mind about imperial bedrooms, why he decided to write a sequel to the novel some twenty years later with twenty years older characters haha cant wait for that one!
so, welcome to the cult and have fun

that first sammich sounds lovely. certain members of the administration will be overjoyed with your inclusion of BACON.
welcome to the cult, with heartfelt meaning and a key to the city, this time!
