Did James Gunn Plagerize Snuff?
On the 11/3 podcast of Adam Corolla's show, his guest James Gunn claims to have signed a contract to produce a show for Microsoft to sell via Xbox 360.
So I wrote a script called the 700. The 700 hundred was about two guys who were standing in line at the world's biggest gangbang, and they have a conversation about their lives..... But basically it's a touching meaningful story about two guys and their dreams.
-James Gunn
Was Chuck in on this deal or did James Gunn just plagiarize the shit out of Snuff?
Sorry, if this has already been discussed
You don't think it's a little strange that the guy wanted to do a show on the exact premise of Snuff? Okay, maybe it's not plagiarism in the legal sense but it's at least infringing on intellectual property.
It's not like people talking about their lives while standing in line at the world's largest gangbang has ever been a common literary device. It doesn't seem odd to you that two people would come up with the same idea at once?
Hey man, I'm really happy for you, and I'm a let you finish, but Snuff, according to legend, is one of the worst books of all time. Of all time!
thanks for sharing.blackhawk tactical pants.

I agree that it's more than a little shady, but I don't think it's anything to get in a huff about.
A- for effort Mr Frick! oh and welcome.

What if HC Frick IS James gunn, and he's trying to stir up controversy for his show?!!
What if they're both Chuck. Trying to sell more copies of snuff in a very indirect way?
What if they are both H.C. Frick in an attempt to make a successful thread?

shyeah right!
This is turning into a scooby-doo style mystery, man!
If he tries hiring a drag queen to play the porn lead in his new movie, then we'll know for sure he plagiarized it!
Chuck Palahniuk did a book that was basically a direct rip-off of a Simpsons episode. Nothing new under the sun, you know?
There is hope, but not for us.
Everyone's whole life is a ripoff of a Simpsons episode.
And which book are you talking about?

Does it bother no one else that he spelled plagiarise wrong?
And which book are you talking about?
Pygmy bears a striking resemblance in places to the Simpson's episode The Crepes of Wrath. Season 1, episode 11.
Did no one notice my playful take on the misspelling with "plagiary" in my first post?
SIMPSON'S DID IT!
they did Pygmy, not Snuff.

I don't know if 2 people standing around at a gangbang would be plagiary. Those world record videos have been around long before Snuff came out.
