I think you should set up a system where you decide who's "cool" and "uncool". Take it on a case by case basis.

For example, people who capitalize words for emphasis usually not cool.

I would like to point out that I was greatly confused by the capitalization of the word "accidentally". Was posting onto your blog an accident or not? For future reference, please refrain from capitalizing full words when trying to imply different things (like sarcasm, anger or humor), you're clearly NOT good at it.

i totally understand where you are coming from but you're going to learn that in here almost anything goes. one thing that i found out is that most everyone comes to the cult to let off some steam and each of us release that steam in different ways: sarcasm, total bitterness, humor,etc. there are no cool or uncool people in here the sooner you realize we're all a bunch of assholes (some constipated,regular,IBS,irregular)and we all need to take a shit. it's just that some shits stink more than others.

so get the toilet paper, pooper scooper,airfreshner,ex-lax,etc.

I guess I'm confused at this. We have new people every two weeks who post something odd and/or time-wasting and/or incoherent. Then, members correct them as to where the post belongs (ie - in a forum, shouldn't have been made since it's one sentence, etc) and the new person freaks out instead of just saying "oh, that's how you do things here". READ people, wade through the forums, it's not that hard. If you read the last two pages of Pointless announcements and make an intro thread for yourself, chances are you'll do okay.

Well, in reference to Chuck fans and posting on this or any forum, I think it's best to paraphrase Chuck from his epilogue to Haunted. Reading is a very concious thing. You have a very clear chance to either read or not. It is not forced on you, one must have the will and desire to read something. And if you don't like something posted as a reply to one of your own posts, simply don't read it. Like everyone here says, just toughen up.
