As I recall, we always get a big influx around Christmas. Most will be gone by Feb. 1.

also, a lot show up right around when school lets out and when it starts back up for some strange reason.
Then, there's a boost when a new book comes out.
So there's a nice quarterly feel to all the newbies joining.

And if your worried about trusting someone so soon after a loss of new people. Think of me of that person at the party who after breaking up with someone, you worry if it is the acceptable time to move on, and still go for it regardless.
