Book referals
Hey...brand new to the site, not to our golden calf though of course.
Considering we have at least one obsession in common, I suppose it only makes sense to ask if anyone here has any other authors/books that they highly recommend?
Hey, hows Emory doing, and what did you exactly mean by deteriformation?

there are so many authors to read and recommend..
if you have a few weeks on your hands, get House of Leaves, or just HoL here, and just read it. dont flip through it, just start with the letter at the beginning and do your best to plow through it. think cold and dark, then think of how a book can really hold you that way. try to imagine it, the fear, long lingering moments of dread. then read the book and feel how it does it.
also, on that note, some have said that after reading Kiss Me, Judas by chris baer, they had to take a bath. i got a kidney infection the first time i read it. dont know if the two were related, but id never had one before nor have i had once since. the writing is infective..
bret easton ellis had me chewing my fingers until they bled while reading american psycho. i ran outta nails halfway through..
