Hey guys, the title says it all.
I've been a fan of Chuck's for about 5 years now, an appreciation that stemmed from my unhealthy addiction to Fight Club the movie. I could recite it word for word before I discovered it was based off a book (Yea I know, how terrible is that?) Naturally I found and devoured the novel shortly after.
My favorite book by him is probably Haunted, and if I had to pick a favorite chapter it's undoubtedly the short story "Obsolete"
I've read this forum often a few years back, but I just rediscovered it last night. The main reason I joined was to get advice about a book club im starting at my college, but thats a subject for another thread.
Just thought I'd say hey
Hi Dias.
A thousand happy welcomes to you.
With luck, your college book club will get you in the sack with someone in no time.

Haunted is my favourite too. I really love that book. And yeah, please stick around. Do you write yourself, or what are your main hobbies? As you can imagine, we're all Chuck fans, but it can get tedious to quote Tyler Durden all day long, so you'll notice some members being needlessly rude to those that do so. Good luck with the book club, you should slip in some writing workshops between yourself and some friends too.
Stick around please.
Hi Corellion,
I'm an English major so I do write often but not nearly as much as I should. Reading has got to be my main hobby. Since this semester started I've finished The Island of Dr. Moreau, The Invisible Man, Slaughter House Five, Animal Farm, 1984, Plato's Symposium and I'm working on The Silmarillion now, so I can definitely chew through some books :headbang:
I like the idea of mixing workshops with the book club but I will have to see what the rest of the group is interested in. I will probably post in the 'Book Club' forum for some advice later tonight.
Edit: And thanks a lot for the greetings you guys, I just addressed Core directly since he asked a question

hello and welcome
