Hi everyone, my name’s Jason Stephens and I can’t believe I just stumbled upon this forum. I’ve been a fan of all things Chuck Palahniuk for a long time and am excited to see like-minded individuals congregating here.

I’m a comic book artist primarily, and have a small publishing company here in the wilds of Kentucky.

I look forward to adding input to some of the threads on here soon.

Then Julian's got this attitude and fires a bullet at my brand new car! Real nice! So I fired a shot at his new car. Spy for a spy, that's the way it works around here."

I think that goes to show Chuck's broad fan base, even if he isn't the news every other day like that Twilight lady. *shudder*

Jason, what kind of comics do you do?

Thanks for the warm welcome everybody!

To answer your questions:

JKabol: Finding time to read has become a hot commodity lately, so I can honestly say Chuck is really the only author I devote free time to. However, I plow through a shit-ton of comics and graphic novels every month.

Fano: As for my own comics, I do the art and co-write a series titled Disconnected: Tales of the Sovereign. Basically, it's the tale of a has-been (more of a never-was) hero that decides to come out of retirement and deal with crime in his small, rural town. It doesn't take itself too seriously and there are plenty of laughs to go along with the violence and drama.

I also do artwork for various books and publishers (Grim Crew Publishing, FnA Comix, Fierce, etc.)

On another front, I was commissioned to do a novel cover for a new author and we're working out some promo art for Unknown Hinson and some Judge Dredd stuff for 2000 AD.

Nothing too big yet, but ya gotta start somewhere right?

that sounds like a lot of fun.
