A Somewhat Late but Mainly Uneeded Introduction.
Been a while since I wrote something for the online community.
So I guess I gotta introduce myself.
Hello, I'm new here and the name's Fatma. Yes. It's funny. Without the 'i'.
I live in Kuwait and I am actually a Kuwaiti. Yet, I speak more English than I do Arabic; yet, it's a good language when you're angry ^w^.
Andand I'm in the process of mastering Japanese (through self-study and burning my eyes with analyzing mini Kanji characters for an hour and fourty five minute; and through Gintama.)
And I'm 20, but I look 15 and I sound like I'm 50. Variety is fun, ne?
Anyways, I joined mainly because . . . well, I kinda like Chuck. And . . . I want to . . . discuss Chuck. -shuffles feet-
So . . . hello?
It's eating Santa's guts.
Hi Heartswell. Welcome and all that jazz.
I'll be in Kuwait next month, but I doubt I'll see you there.
What are you using to learn Japanese? I'm using Rosetta Stone to try and learn French; I was skeptical at first, but it actually works surprisingly well. My next step is to find some French skype friends!
Step back. Evaluate. Recognize.
Hey Fatma.
Welcome! Learning Japanese must be neat. What do you do in your spare time?
See? This one has responses and everything! Yay!
This is why we can't have nice things.
^I KNOW
And I learnt how to delete! -easily excited- So thank you for noting that. -hugsquishes-
Thanks you everyone for responding! ^__^
Hello back, audreythirteen! I have other interets, too. . . sort of. It's just that . . . nobody here knows who he is and I feel all 'ughugh' when I finish reading and want to just talk about it. And I hope I'll stick around too
And Gintama is an anime; it borders on crack to say the least.
Hi MCDrake. and I doubt that, too, but welcome to Kuwait in advance ^__^ Just a heads-up: becareful of the streets D: 3/4 of the drivers are either lunatics, careless or hormone-infested boys. Be warned! XD
And I'm mainly using animes, manga raws (with untransalted Japanese texts), audio I got from NHK, wikipedia for a some of the basics -but not the details- and Tae Kim's Japanese Guide to Grammar. It's much more useful and interesting because it's a Japanese guide from an actual Japanese point of view. And it focuses on what those DIY books don't.
And learning (probably re-learning, I assume)French must be fun! Is the grammar (the advanced part at most) pretty complicated ? My highschool memory has been wiped clean.
Hello, Imke. Spare time is manga-reading time.
and stressing-out-about-homework-then-doing-it-at-the-last-minute time. What do you do in yours?

After my summer semester is over, I'm going to go into hardcore French study mode as much as I can. I've learned about a semester's worth of french on my own, so if you need a Skyper, I could probably help out a little bit.
Also, Welcome Fatma. It's cool to have someone from a new part of the world. I hope you enjoy it here.
Fano, why pick a language that is freaking gay?

Hello there. We love Chuck here but we like talking about other interests have as well. Hope you stick around you seem very interesting.
Can you explain Gintama?
