If you like Chuck, I think, you have to read Ellis. If you like Ellis and Chuck, the way is paved, there's many books you'll definitely dig. If you like Chuck and don't like Ellis, that way is paved, too. People will tell you all sorts of shit about Less Than Zero, but American Psycho and Rules of Attraction are his best novels, opinion a la this nigga.
Coupland if you like the light heartedness of Chuck, Baer if you like the style of prose, Welsh if you like the seediness and dark humor; and Alex Garland's The Beach no matter what, which, if you don't like that you won't like the Tesseract, and you'll know if you like any of these authors within five pages of reading them.
