So....
Hello I'm very new and am really enjoying reading my first chuck book, lullaby and am thrilled to read an learn even more about this wonderful mans books.
new member.
Hi everyone. I have just registered and it looks like I have to post here to exist, I class "existing" as one of the few things I manage to do well but it'd be great if that could be confirmed by some internets people.
I live in the UK, I have read most of Chuck's books (including plowing through Pygmy and Diary yesterday) and class Invisible Monsters as probably my favourite work of his. Other than that I tend to read anything I come across be it Dickens, Steinbeck or Womans Weekly.
I am late to writing and have only recently had an epiphany that this is something I would like to do. I think lurking here might help.
I said a rude word on local radio once.
I'M NOT PART OF YOUR SYSTEM
what up other chuck-a-holics my name's camille and i'm an aspiring writer. i think i'm pretty good. one time i was in the lit mag my high school does.
i like soap made of fat, tattoos, and sulking. I don't care if you guys like me because I don't need your approval.
anyway my favorite book is snuff and I like taking pictures in fish eye.
if you want to read some of my writing let me know or something
Hi, my name is Amber...
And I'm a cultaholic.
I like poetry, long walks on the beach and poking dead things with a stick.
At least I have a sticker that says that, and it makes me laugh. I haven't found anything to stick it on yet.
People like to give me little signs that say things and I hang them around my house. Most recently, one that says "I'll be Perfect... Just as soon as I get that Walking on Water thing down." I hung it above my coffee maker. Motivation every morning!
I have another little sign that says "I AM wearing my Big Girl Panties! They're just starting to Bunch. OK."
An my favorite "What contemptible scoundrel stole the cork from my lunch!" Which I guess is a W.C. Fields quote. That is about all I know of the man, I am bad with remembering any facts about celebrities or notable people, you see, but I do feel I could be friends with him based on that quote. I empathize completely. read more »
Apparently I dont exist so.
Hi everyone. I first heard about chuck through a friend in summer of 2010. she let me borrow her copy of Invisible Monsters and ive been in love ever since(:
Insert awkward 'hello' to everyone
That person who stays home reading on their weekends...
Greetings
I stumbled on to - and duly signed up to - this fine looking forum while in my constant search of finding new websites to distract my brain whilst at work.
I work in the fickle world of television here in London town
I like old man Palahniuck.
Does the man dabble much in the forum?
Probably considered sacrilege to you lot but I've not read his last couple of books - am I missing much?
Hello
Aloha
From here in the UK. im new round these parts so any forum tips or cheats to help me settle in are welcome otherwise erm helloooo!
ohai!
hello there!
i may be new on here, but i'm not new to chuck. i've been reading his books for years, i currently have Damned sitting next to me, and a fresh new Invisible Monsters tattoo on my foot. i also have a quote from Survivor right next to it.
i'm looking for like-minded readers, because i'm sick of people telling me i'm weird when i try to describe my favorite books haha.
~Jessi K!
