All would be calm in the forest except for Cyril Sneer, whatever the hell kinda animal he is. I don't even know, maybe an anteater.
I also enjoy raccoons wrap in bacon and dipped in chocolate, but thats a story for another day.

They caught me because of the blood on my fingers and between my teeth. I looked up from my meal on the tile of the kitchen floor and dropped her cold limb with a thud and minor splash and told them it wasn't me.

Hi. I'm new. My name is Ashley. I'm currently at work, so my motivation to write something cheery and inviting is rather shot. Haha. To be honest, I'm not a writer (yet... need to get into college first... if the financial aid people ever decide to look at my damn forms), and I need to read more. I assume once I'm back into the swing of writing papers and reading too many things at once, I'll get the push I need to do so. I'm 21, live in Arizona, and was born in Canada. Guess I'm new here, since I haven't posted anything before. Not new to Chuck though. I've been a huge fan of his since Fight Club came out and surfed this site since then too.
I now own 9 of his books, including Snuff which I'm now enjoying mid-way through. Still got to get Invisible Monsters and Fugitives & Refugees...
And btw, I'm from Finland, a film student in Cinematography. So I'm very much into movies and film art. I'd like to develop myself as a writer too. Chuck is an inspiration. Other things that rule are metal and prog-rock music. Oh yeah, I play guitar too. Yep, thats my personal introduction right there.
I wonder if I have many fellow citizen fans here :)
Chuck's writing is just something else. Can't help grinning and chuckling while I read em. Awesome. Hope he keeps up this pace of releasing a book per year. Can't wait till Pygmy, sounds so cool!
There's one thing I've been eager to get my hands onto as well - the Postcards from the future dvd, guess I have to order it from amazon or something.

lebow, it's nice to see such a progressed fan here. cant believe you havent yet read invisible monsters. should be a-damn-shamed of yourself =) im is often sited as his best work. i agree, with survivor being in second. as for post cards, PM dennis. he may have a copy still. otherwise, go the trades and barters section here: http://www.chuckpalahniuk.net/forum/1000035 just start a thread asking if anyone has one for sell or trade, and every once in a while they come up on eBay. also, have you yet read craig clevenger or will christopher baer? or denis johnson, mark richard, amy hempel?

so, i signed up months ago, and for some reason, it's taken me this long to post anything. i'm basically technologically inept (and maybe a bit socially as well hahaha!) and completely lost... i would really like to start writing again, and i'm hoping that next month i'll remember to pay my $40 for the workshop, but until then i guess it would be a good idea to learn my way around everything else on here (which at the moment seems like quite a lot...) anyway, i guess that's it. any suggestions, comments, smart-ass (humorous rather than malicious) replies would be welcome :)
i don't know why this came up as a post in reference to something else... not sure if that's normal or if this is a prime example of my technological impairment...
