Your favorite band. Quick!!!!
I know there are 748 threads about your favorite bands, songs, etv. I don't care. Some are so old your opinions may have changed. I'm bored at work and downloading music (legally, of course) No need for a long, thought-out reply. Just write the first band that comes to your mind.
Nevermind.
But... but this thread was gonna be so great

I say more power to 'em. seems an easy way to make some cash so they can continue what they're doing.
(andrew bird... which i guess is a person and not a band but, well, fuck you.)
Rockstar Supernova
The Stunning
The Saw Doctors
The last month it's been The Saw Doctors. Thanks Derek. Say 'Hi and thanks' to the lads for me.
I must have missed hearing about them in the 90's 'cuz they're so upbeat....I was still listening to angry thrash back then.
They have slots 3 and 4 in the truck cd player.
There's some Vibro Champs commin your way Barca Boy.
edit: and I'm learning to do that silent chuckle/invisible grin the lead singer does in "Bless Me Father"

TOOL, seeing them on the 4th at the world's biggest music festival. You heard it right, the world's biggest music festival is in Milwaukee. 10 days, a bunch of free stages with admission, one "headliner stage," crowded as fuck, and don't forget to bend over for those $23+ service charges for the headliner stage, WTF.
Correction 11 stages for 11 days
Think for yourself. Question Authority.
I was going to say Tool also. Now I feel like one...
I'd like you to tell me that you are a false prophet and that God is a superstition.

Saw them last night, it was awesome. I was a little disappointed in the beginning of Rosetta Stoned, there was no dynamic change for the verse to the chorus like there is on the album, it went from wall o sound to wall o sound. Flood, Lateralus, and Wings/10000 Days were the highlight of the show for me.

A live Tool show is life-altering, similiar to a SOAD show. Flood is usually a highlight.

System's first album = amazing
second great but a bit repetitive
steal this decent
hyp/mez = crap except for 3-4 songs
I wish the guitar player would quit trying to sing. Serj's voice is awesome, but I just can't stand Daron's voice. If they ever put out any future releases, I will check them out and hope they return to form.

SOAD- needed alot of work
Tox- one of the best albums of the year
Steal- they were just getting good, what happened?
Mes- Oh, there they are! Fucking brilliant. Rick Rubin should get an award. Every song on here works perfectly.
Hyp- I knew it would be impossible to top Mesmerize. Couple good songs. 2 months later... Awesome album! The songs I liked at first are shit, the ones a had to warm up to are masterpieces. Tentative, Dreaming, Attack. I listen to it everyday.
Daren singing was the best thing to happen to SOAD. Their voices are complete opposites and I think they compliment each other in a way that no 2 other voices could. I wonder if we would disagree on everything? If so, you would have everything in common with my ex-girlfriend.
If I had to answer this question... I don't really think I could. I don't have a favorite. I listen to a lot of different bands.
Beatles
The Used
Cream
My Chemical Romance
David Bowie
etc...
I like so many different bands.

This is so funny. I spent most of last night trying to find a CD that I almost bought a long time ago (does that make sense?). I'm almost positive that it was a Cure CD with the band on the cover. Now I can't find that CD. Which CD by the had the most hits?
The Smiths.

Yeah - I was looking up CD's by them too last night.
The Used.

www.myspace.com/rehabmusic
I can't believe that Rehab is your favorite. They are good but not many people listen to them. I remember there was a time when I listened to them a lot and all of my friends were like "What the fuck is this crap?" I don't know. It's one of those weird bands that just sort of grows on you.
A Tribe Called Quest just came on TV so yeah them

I love playing records by The Cure or The Smiths in my classroom. It's so awesome to watch the kid's faces go from confusion to disbelief to anger until someone finally whispers from the back of the room..."What the fuck is up with this music???" Happens every time. Priceless.

That was sort of my reaction when I checked out their MySpace page. WTF is this??? I can't take white-guys rappin'. Even if it's pseudo-rappin' like Linkin Park, Kid Rock, or any of those other choads. Well, except for the Beasties.

BE MINE!
Music is the only thing that my girlfriend and I disagree on. She listens to Justin Timberlake and that one American Idol girl that is like country. I hate her music.
Bowie's Ziggy Stardust Concert Live is like one of the best live CD's ever. I can listen to that one CD over and over and over.
You hear The Used new CD yet?

Yeah, that's the new shit, Graffiti the World. It's definetly worth picking up. You can usually find it at Best Buy or you can order it, along with some previously unreleased stuff as well as a ton of dope Rehab gear, here...
www.rehabmusic.net
Tour dates here as well. These guys put on a great live show. I've seen em 6 or 7 times. They're always down to go out afterwards.
