Who's going to go see Radiohead?
I'M GOING TO GO SEE RADIOHEAD MOTHER FUCKERRRRRRRRS!!!!!
I'm a little excited in case you couldn't tell. The concert still isn't for another 6 months, but I'm a patient guy. So anybody else have plans to see 'em? I probably wouldn't have such an opportunity except for my study abroad in Aberdeen, Scotland. They'll be playing pretty close to the campus, I guess.
Here's a list of tour dates: http://www.ateaseweb.com/live/index.php
Nothing's for sure in the US except for Field Day in New York.
P.S. My use of the phrase "mother fuckers" was used in only the most affection way. I love you all, each in your own special way.
I didn't know any of that stuff about Field Day. I just went to Coachella and saw an ad for Field Day in the line up dealie, Radiohead being at the top. Thanks for the update. So all you US kids are screwed right now unless you plan on making a trip to the UK this fall. Suckers.

wtf, us kids? Has Seattle become it's own country?
No, but I'll be in the UK this fall, winter, and next spring, so I don't count as one of the screwed.
That's awesome. I'm going to be in Europe later this month, but I doubt I'll make it to any RH shows cause my tour group is going to be a bunch of jackasses. With any luck they'll come to the US sometime before the year is over.
BTW, Field Day is for sure now. The concert promoters took the permit issue to the NY supreme court last weekend and the ruling was in favor of the concert.
Unfortunately, it's $200 a ticket, but you get to see Interpol and Sigur Ros too, among others. That has to be the best lineup ever. Too bad my plans to go fell though.
Then again, I might be wrong.
Yah, well, I'm going to see the Manic Street Preachers. Actually, I'm still jealous.

"Get down do you?"
"Good blow, this is."
rents you won't be feeling so smug when we're all piled in your dorm room the night before the radiohead show...
road trip anyone?
maestro, *heart* chappelle's show
Don't know if any of you kids in New York knew about this or not and even now that you do, I doubt tickets will be available, but according to the website I posted earlier, Radiohead's doing a 2 dollah show this Thursday at some theater starting with a B. My memory sucks sometimes.
Field Day is definitely not for sure
check out http://www.newsday.com for the latest. Suffolk County doesn't want to sign a permit and the state police are unwilling to help out at the concert.
God forbid they should come out to California. Fuckin A, I'm jealous Rents
Suck me beautiful...
i saw radiohead in chicago...last summer, methinks?
worth every penny.
i was going to go to field day. but i am stupid and poor.
two things that field day does not like.
Field Day was awesome in grammer school. When everyone would be divided up into two sides represented by a color just likt the gawddang civil war and you had races and tug-a-wars. That shit rocked. You guys had this at your schools, didn't you?

Races tug-a-war? You mean where the white guys were on one side and the black guys were on another? Yeah, we had that.
yeah, i was really disappointed that he didn't have more time on stage. kid koala is the shit.

Road trip. *nervous laughter*. Right. I can picture a big group of people I've never seen all smiling at me when I open the door. 'RENTS!!! So glad to see you! Hey mind if we stay here tonight? GREAAAAAAAT!! It'll be a big party!!'
They're pretty sure that Field Day will go on but at the Giants Stadium. Rumor has it they might shorten it to one day. Oh well. Anyway, I hope Radiohead does a few more US dates (cough, Boston). There's a ten-day gap between their Canada and Denver show, so maybe they'll play a few more US dates. Most likely California though, so maybe I should just forget about it.

Yeah, and I'll keep hoping they'll stop by Virginia Beach's hell-hole of a music scene before the end of 2004. Damn that'd be cool though....
Then again, I might be wrong.
Sushi: nothing is official yet, but i heard they were coming to the tweeter center in mansfield 8/14/03. lets hope so.

I saw Radiohead in Wellington NZ in 1998 (OK Computer Tour)
and it was by far THE most intense mosh pit I've ever been in.
I have to admitt Im pretty pissed off with them though for touring the states (again) while bypassing NZ (again).
(Colin and Phil are forgiven though for playing the Neil Finn gigs in 2001!!!)
OK...it's confirmed for Giants Stadium. waste is already selling the tickets, but a lot of the bands aren't coming, including Interpol and Sigur Ros, which is a shame. I wanted a to hear a bootleg of a live version of "Stelllllla" from a huge area like that.
Actually, I really want to see Thom start playing Creep and then when the crowd goes wild he'll say fuck off and start playing Everything In It's Right Place instead.
YesTERday I WOKe Up SUckiNG A LeMON.
Then again, I might be wrong.
i like kid koala, but radiohead is shit. threfore
ROBOT PUKING DOES NOT APPROVE OF THIS THREAD! (and realizes he is late in doing so.)

Yessss! Quad fingers strike!
There is hope, but not for us.
Shove the quad finger up your ass. The only reason you don't approve is because your jealous of me and my Radiohead ticket. *sticks his tongue out and sucks his thumb, clinging to his binky*
now it is official Radiohead in boston august 13th. tickets go on sale saturday.

I'M GOING TO SEE RADIOHEAD!!! AUGUST 13! CAN'T WAIT! I'm going to try to start some anti-clear channel hoopla so if anyone wants in, let me know.

i dont like them

Acxtually field day isn't even for sure. They are in negotiations, trying to pull it off. Apparently they set up the concert before having a mass gather permit. When they applied, that permit was denied because the town didn't have enpough police officers to cover the event. There was also an enviormental issue concerning rare bird mating season, but that case was already solved. The concert probably will happen since it is such a big deal and so many people have tickets, something will most likely be worked out, but definate it is not. Unless something was settle today or yesterday and I don't know about it.
