Went to Death Cab for Cutie tonight. They put on a great show live. Full of energy. Ben, the lead singer, called the crowd "fucking sweethearts". It was cool.
The only thing I hate about crowded concerts are the assholes that push their way to the front when the headliner comes on. These dicks have stupid grins on their faces, and they're giving that token "excuse me" as they push through the crowd.
Oh well, still a great show, and that's all that matters.

We went and saw the awesome Tom Vek last night. This is the second time we've seen him and even though it was a horrendous atmosphere, filled to the rafters with pretentious 'too cool for school' types, Tom was still great. I can't wait till they bring in the smoking ban though *cough* bloody students and their marlboro lights
Woot..for the next 2 days Against Me!, Smoke or Fire, and The Soviettes will be up in Alaska, part of the Fat Wreck 50 state tour. I even got to pick some of them up from the airport . They'll be playing on Tuesday night. (curse my communist china course for having the midterm on the same day:()

My friend Milo and I are going to catch Danzig with Doyle tonight at graham central station here in San Antonio. Looking forward to a huge set of old Misfits and Samhein(sp) stuff.
Doyle and Danzig on there 45 minute set of old Misfit tracks was fucking awesome, the minute he started out singing skulls the fucking crowd went fucking nuts as did I ! Man, i'm drunk and tired from the entire thing, not cause of danzig but cause we spent 2 and a half hours listening to shitty metal bands to hear him. I've got soo blitz'd tonight;

so my coworkers and I are going to the show!

Was it good? We saw him at the start of the year and he was brilliant. I'm a bit biased though I think he's amazing and he has the same birthday as me as well
