"When the ship docks, I'm getting off with you."
Oh man, I can not get enough of this film. I basically bought all the widescreen special editions on VHS when it came out and I'm getting the brandspankin' new internation four disc set of TITANIC.

It's probably not. There are no castles in TITANIC. It's not a castle movie.
I'm missing the humour in this thread, I think.
Yeah I left it with yo momma.
Yeah I left it with yo momma.
Oh, there it is.
It's probably not. There are no castles in TITANIC. It's not a castle movie.
The castles in Ice Castles are SYMBOLIC. It's a love against all odds type flick.

TITANIC don't even have symbolic castles, it has huge ass icebergs.
(I haven't seen ICE CASTLES)

Oh, sort of like Say Anything starring John Cusack.

Don't pick a fight with me Mister Brown, get over the castles already. Is it a love against all ODDS flick?

Yes, thank you Frank. (But more cheesy, if possible)

Heh heh.
Soem bastard ruined the ending of that film for me. Sinks!
CURVEBALL!
OMG You are so funny! ROFLLMAOLOLETC
I told my mum that Kate Winslet and Leonardo floated off into the sunset together on a raft and the film ended. She totally bought it and made a fool of herself at work the next day.

Champion.
You keep throwing them rofl waffles my way.
Oh you're barbed.
What
I want out
even if this thread is one big pisstake, I just want to chip in and say that I loved Titanic. Especially the Irish bloke. This bit always had me in tears:
Jack: They've got you trapped, Rose. And you're gonna die if you don't break free. Maybe not right away because you're strong but... Sooner or later that fire that I love about you, Rose... That fire's gonna burn out...
Rose: It's not up to you to save me, Jack.
Jack: You're right... Only you can do that.
I'd also like to admit that I have always loved Leonardo Dicrapio.
I want out
I thought you'd gone all invisible for a minute there. Like people do when they're sick of all the fanmail in their PM box. False alarm, though.

I'm dead serious, I love this film. Saw it four times in the theatre. WIth four different dates. No, not in one week, remember the film played like what a YEAR or so.
Five !
Yeah I left it with yo momma.
High point of this thread.
There is hope, but not for us.

and I bet you snivelled every time
and I bet you snivelled every time ;)
I did let myself go the very first time I saw it. I went on the day it premiered in the late afternoon, so it wouldn't be too crowded and I could focus on the film. I got a little moist around the eyes yeah I admit. I didn't all out cry though. I love just being in a film and seeing it as the only reality at that moment.
vomit.
vomit.
ICE BERG! ROIGHT AHEAD!
Okay I lied, that was the high point of the thread.
There is hope, but not for us.

Me too, and I think he gets a shitty deal for the whole teeny bopper heart throb thing.
Although that time has gone and he's grown into better things.
anyway, yeah. I think he's groovy, yeah
My favourite Leo movie was This Boy's Life.
When I was about ten or eleven I was obsessed- went out of my way to see his teen flicks, even Poison Ivy, which he was a mere extra in. I even read books about him. One of my friends was reminded of this when I put on What's Eating Gilbert Grape (fuck that dated badly didn't it?) at my school's film society. She bought me a really awful documentary all about Leo sightings and his favourite nightclubs made by some obsessed fan. It was cringeworthy and called To Leo, With Love or some bollocks.
I'd love to be at one of his parties. I heard he throws a killer orgy.

Kind of a random post... please forgive me... but I'm trying to find a movie I saw bits of a long time ago. It's a wierd movie where a guy with glasses grows an appendage, an arm, out of his back or torso. Anyone know this movie?
