whats the worst movie you ever saw?
I knew you would Write something like that.

I loved In Bruges! I thought it had amazing acting, dialogue, cinematography, and such a compelling and dark story. The end startled me. I thought it was great.
Popular movies I hated are the Big Lebowski, Legends of the Fall, Breaking the Waves, Dances with Wolves.
It's "Troma". Check out Tromeo and Juliet some time.

You should try watching movies dubbed into German. Hi-lar-ious. <3
yeah, that's one too. I think the voice-over narration is what killed that though.
Yeah, total let down. The premise was great but it didn't pan out.
it did have a lot of great bits in it, just not enough to fill an entire movie. And i don't care what anyone says, "You talk like a fag and your shits all retarded." is as great as any quote from Office Space.

Does that include porn? Been there. Done that.

Pokemon. The english dub makes me wish it wasn't one of my favourite videogames, but the german dub is perfect.
Did. It was better, but by no means good. The only troma film I enjoyed was Cannibals: The Musical. And that was barely troma.
"...human speech is like a cracked tin kettle, on which we hammer out tunes to make bears dance when we long to move the stars."
for those that hate michael bay movies, here's a song for ya,
nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it.
i didn't have the sound on. something about ill fated pearl harbour?
what about Saw, Saw II, Saw III, Saw IV, Saw V, Saw VI, Saw VII? I liked Saw VIII though.

Troma films aren't supposed to be good in any way.
Cannibal! The Musical was distributed by Troma, and they consider it their finest release to date, but no one but Troma really thinks of it as a Troma film.

I am forced to watch so many bad movies, I have come to dislike going to the theatre or anything that comes home from Hollywood video. I tend to just go to sleep early to make them stop.
Last one was "The Ruins"...

Oh I totally agree. That line was great.

I too have come to dissent hollywood, (warning: cliche remark about the economy ahead!) and with the economy in the shitter, you know that they're gonna keep playing it safe with these generic CGI festivals featuring a cast of soon to be washed up celebrities (celebrities, not actors). On the plus side, maybe more people will start reading books. Just not the people I know, they live for those aforementioned plotgun weddings, and so I'm gonna be roped into seeing every last one of them. First stop: Transformers 2: Revenge of the fallen. You just know that when he came up with that title, Michael Bay thought that he had come up with the most intelligent and articulate thing to ever be scribed onto a movie poster.
Ultra Violet
Carnival of Souls

I don't watch that, so I wouldn't know.
Sick Boy, that pokerap is AWESOME.
Trouble Every Day.
A movie with Vincent Gallo and death by felatio. Yuck.
vincent gallo could have been something.
Though I gotta say, I'm grateful for the existence of Rosemary's Baby, because it gave to us the Woodland Critters Christmas episode of South Park. One of my favorites.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
I saw Rosemary's Baby after eating some fungus one time. It wasn't the worst movie I've ever seen, but given the circumstances it was the worst movie I've ever picked to watch in a particular situation.

...and we may have a winner!

Oh, I know they're not supposed to be good, and they fully succeed. And I know there is a niche for those movies, otherwise Kaufman wouldn't be able to keep this up for... like thirty years. But they don't get to be "not bad" movies because they were doing it on purpose.
Or maybe that's too much credit, and it's like encouraging their bad behavior? I don't know, either way I always seem to end up watching a troma movie every couple years wondering why do I do this to myself...
Oh, that's right, topless girls.
"...human speech is like a cracked tin kettle, on which we hammer out tunes to make bears dance when we long to move the stars."
I saw that George Cloony movie Michael Clayton and wanted to walk out of the theater but instead, sat there staring at the screen as the credits started rolling thinking to myself/outloud ‘That has the potential of being the worst movie of all time.’
…then I saw X-Files I Want to Believe.
I just wrestle with you in my dreams and wake up making love to a pillow.
Is you crazy? Michael Clayton was some good stuff!
I AM SHIVA THE DESTROYER!
I don't even remember what happened in the movie. I just remember being really bored and almost walked out, but we were sitting in the middle of a row and the theater was packed so we decided to stay.
I just wrestle with you in my dreams and wake up making love to a pillow.
The worst movie I've seen is The Disaster Movie. Aside from that, the Confessions of a Shopaholic was bad. The Bratz movie can fuck itself. Haha. Oh, and any other movie by Aaron Seltzer (The Epic Movie, Date movie guy).
I liked the first Scary Movie, mind you I was 11 at the time. I see this guy, running around hollywood, making money by throwing these crude, childish imitations of "this year in popular culture" up on a movie screen, and you know what thought occurs to me? There are real artists out there, living in poverty. Huh.
The idea of this is pretty gross. Unfortunately, it happens all the time.

Another thought: remember Meet the Spartans and Disaster Movie? Someone actually paid money to have those movies filmed and produced.
i accidentally watched '13 going on 30' once, it was bad. there was even a dance sequence in it.
i will guiltily confess that i liked 13 Going On 30 - well, i just saw like ten minutes of it, and it was everyone doing Thriller, which was the musical sequence i assume you referred to. i remember being surprised that it was more than likely a musical.
this is actually the first time i have EVER heard anything bad about Poultrygeist!! i've been looking forward to seeing it, actually. of course, i also quite enjoy that made for sci-fi movie with pat morita et al battling massive bad cgi cobras, and Pinata:Survival Island starring jaime pressly and....the kid that played xander on buffy. what's his name. you know.
and i also held onto hope for vincent gallo - until he started showing up in vodka commercials, with seemingly no intention of doing anything else.
OH!! my original point: TITANIC!!!! it rivals Armageddon in being horrible, and may even surpass its horribleness due to sheer length. also it stole dicaprio (laugh, fine, i like him) pretty much until the Departed (which was awesome).
i was forced to watch the whole thing because we were too lazy to get up and change the channel because we didn't have the remote. that was the only musical number.
speaking of musical numbers, 'clerks 2' was one of the worst things i've ever seen. i don't know what kevin smith was trying to pull off with that one but there was nothing redeemable about it. i mostly sat in anger watching it. the whole musical number was just pointless and embarrassing. he made up for it with 'zack and miri' though, that was funny shit.
how can a movie with this scene be bad???

it can't, it just can't.
that was really smooth, too, the way the guy with his hands up the bottom of her shirt ever-so-subtly passed the implants to the guy reaching DOWN her shirt. i'm sure that took at least ten minutes of rehearsal, not to mention the choreography involved.
astounding.
this may be blasphemy. Me being a child of the 80's and all, but the only troma film i've ever seen was the tromeo and juliet one. and I think that was mid-90's it came out. Never seen a one of those toxic avenger ones. not even the cartoon!

can't be on my list if I've never watched it.
Though they did play a couple clips from it in one of those Tim and Eric shows. I thought it was just another one of their unfunny sketches where they were making fun of vincent gallo.
it's been a long time since i've watched any of those. but my brain is reaching a place where super-realistic melodramas are just not entertaining. i'd rather my screen entertainment be a little more ridiculous - less Valkyrie, more Fido.
not that i would ever watch that piece of shit (the tom cruise one, not the billy connely one).
i'd watch Valkrie. But i wouldn't pay for it.
the unborn.
i understand that pretty much all recent horror movies now suck. however, i gave it the benefit of the doubt because I'm a gigantic fan of Gary Oldman. And I like a lot of David S. Goyers stuff. But this movie was shit. I walked out.
The power of delusion is incredibly strong
Michael Clayton had its moments, but so much of it was effing ddddddrrrrrrrraaaaaagggggggiiiiiinnnnngggggg...
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
The Happening...what a piece of shit, cut to about five minutes till the end of the movie, him- "shut all the windows and doors"...her- "why???" oh, what the hell?I want my fucking five bucks back!
I am fueled by filth and fury.
What's wrong with Valkyrie?
CourtneyN216: did you see Bug?? i'm not sure it's classified a horror movie, but i scratched during the whole thing. freaked me the hell out.
red: OH MY GOD THANK YOU!!! i HATED it - and seriously thought it was going to be scary. or a bit spooky. maybe a bit of plot - just a bit. i mean, i like ridiculous gore-fests, but i want them to be up front about it, so i can be prepared to laugh and compliment the screaming and realistic eyeball-dangling etc.
Imke: tom cruise with an eyepatch. nazis plotting to kill other nazis. woopty shit. just not my thing.
just watched a movie last night called Powder Blue. It looked intresting. Had a good cast. Great Cinamintograpgy(sp) But the writing was HORRIBLE!!
