What's the last movie you rented?
Saw.........really good as far as horror movies go. it didn't seen like the normal recycled horror movie bullshit that u get in every other i can remember seeing w/ the exception of blair witch. it may be recycled shit, although i have never seen from what, so it was great for me.
Through a Glass Darkly
Word Wars
Hero
Resident Evil 2
Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
The Usual Suspects - great story and very well-shot, but some of the dialogue and over-acting (particularly by Steven Baldwin) was hard to watch. I kind of saw the twist coming, and I NEVER see twists coming, either. Two and half stars out of five.

Last movie I got from Lovefilm was The Man Who Wasn't There, I've seen it before and it's quite good.
!
Halfway through Constantine. My wife's best/only friend (my ex) let her borrow it but didn't want to see it. I started to watch it and realized my wife would be very upset by it, since she tried to commit suicide.
Deliverance: Great movie. Should've seen it a long time ago.
Battle Royale: Great movie. Can't wait to see the shitty American rip off.
Tonight, I've got China Town.

Buddy made me a copy of Battle Royal and apparently some of the subtitles are missing.
Edit: My point is, did you have this issue?
Yeah, found that out. Chinatown. One word. Good movie.
And yeah, some of the subtitles are off a bit, or seem to be missing, or they go over the edge of the screen. Job's not done well, but still.

With mine the characters will be talking and suddenly words will pop up, such as, "I agree, let's go with him."
Kinda sucks, but I can still follow the plot, but I lose all of the subtleties of dialogue which happens badly enough with foreign films.
Friend lent me The Machinist. I can finally finish it.
fight club
yet again
Finally watched a couple of the netflix movies that had been sitting around for a months. Next up are The Bad Sleep Well and Paris, Texas (so many culties seemed to be watching this a while ago, i thought i'd check it out).
I love Paris, Texas.
Sahara based on Cussler's novel. It wasn't horrible.

"You drag me out of bed in the middle of the night to show me stick figures on the shithouse wall?"
Yesterday the netflix santa brought 'Kungfu Hustle'. I needed the laughs. For some reason I was expecting exploding cows, but it was still great without them. The uses of sound as a weapon were interesting. three thumbs up

I've got The Heist at home. I'm about to bump 40 Year Old Virgin up on my netflix list.

I agree with you on November.
After it was done, I was like, 'okay, what was that?'
It looked sooo good too.
Oh well, I recommend Junebug to anybody. Just awesome.
Recently I have watched a few films that LoveFilm sent me-
Sin City - Liked this more than the first time I saw it, something about it not being a dodgy copy this time or maybe because when it first came out there was all that hype.
The Center Of The World - an indie film about a rich guy who falls for a stripper and pays her to spend a weekend with him. Awful, just awful.
Pollock - About the artist, Jackson Pollock. I didn't know anything about him so I don't know if it's a biography or a biopic but it's pretty good. The end is a bit of a downer but then again life stories rarely end with a bang.
Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion. Such a great movie!
Seriously?
i think its a cute movie. sometimes don't you just feel like watching silly movies. my favorite part is when they do the dance at the end.
I really like Romy and Michele. I dunno why, but there's something about high school related movies that make me smile and enjoy life!

Yeah, it's supposed to be like Hitchcock's ROPE in that the film was shot in one continuous take. Whatever...
