Is this your first time watching Fur?
I really liked it. But I am a sucker for anything with circus sideshow acts.

I just watched Idiocracy. It's shit.
Have you seen Dog Days? It's amazing and I think you're weird enough to enjoy it.
Check it out. I'll buy you an e-beer if you don't dig it.

dont take my word for it, check out this awesome review:
"There was a strange feeling left when I left the cinema. Is it true that some people live in such a world? Somehow depressing, in a very strange way funny, too. "Dogdays" in Austrian language means something special: named after the star Sirius wich is the Dog-Star and wich appears in the beginning of August the "Dog`s Days" means a period of very good and hot wheater with no clouds - almost too hot. You feel like everybody else but the characters are on holidays. "Dog" is somehow the Mind-Level of all of those characters playing in the film. You can say what you want: this is a film you`ve never seen any alike before. And that's reason enough to watch it. To me at least. The film is somehow very slow and you have a distance to it by seeing those many difference characters as from inside themselves.
Somehow very special cinema and somehow very funny in strange depressing way. (...)A weekend, a heat-period: six stories, woven together, telling fragments of ordinary everydaylife. Evenings of songplay, sex and violence, days of lust and love, longing for love and not reaching it. A weekend full of the most normal catastrophees. Suburbian surroundings.""

Right now, I'm watching the BBC morning gibberish. No sexy newsreaders, sadly.

South Park is so ridiculous you can't help but watch and laugh. I'm watching the one where Stan's dad poops the largest crap ever.

When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.
Just finished watching Eastern Promises.
I can't believe how much I enjoy David Cronenberg's stuff lately. I absolutely loved A History of Violence and I thoroughly enjoyed this one as well.
I've never been a fan of Cronenberg's work but these last two were fantastic. I hope he keeps this streak going, instead of doing more crazy and badly produced shit sci-fi junk.
I watched one of the two little featurettes on the disc and Viggo said something about that scene where he's in his underwear being interviewed by all the mob leaders. He basically said it's a weird Cronenberg scene and that it makes sense because of who the director is.
It made me laugh out loud (or LOL for the new kids) at 2:30 in the morning.
I agree with you though, the shit sci-fi stuff had better not make a return.

yeah, i kinda avoided a history of violence for a while because i was suspicious of its cronenberg-ness, but i really enjoyed it. have you read the graphic novel and what is eastern promises about?
unrelated note: i would love to see a rob the mormon/alex cassun movie review thread
I haven't read the graphic novel for A History of Violence, unfortunately.
Eastern Promises is about the Russian mafia in London. Naomi Watts is a nurse that finds a girls diary after the girl showed up dead at the hospital and starts asking questions. The plot basically develops after that, but I'm not gonna ruin it for ya.
Clottey v Corrales

I'm watching Jackass the series. This disk is almost done so I think I'm about to watch either Vanilla Sky or Sublime.

Ditto, and the Cubs are gonna win!
Edit: They won!

I'm watching the Red Violin again!
this movie never gets old.
My boyfriend got me a copy of Bugsy Malone so I'm watching some of it to see if I love it now as much as I did when I was little. I can't believe I still know the lyrics to some of the songs.
