My brother rented the first 8 episods of Lost. I watched the first 5 nonstop. So I guess I liked it.

I thinik I liked it enought to split the cost of the DVD's with my brother, who's become a huge fan. And plus, I'm a DVD whore.

I'm watching firefly on dvd and so far i don't get whats supposed to be good about it.

well very [i]loosely[/i] like Dermaphoria
theyre both about a couple of meth cooks that are fucked up and all the crazy adventures they get into
reading the book at the same time as seeing the flick for the first time just kind of tied em together i reckon
anyway, its worth seeing just for vincent donofrio as a meth dealer thats had his nose cut off from snorting too much of the shit

I watched Alien Resurrection last night and the only good part was when the Alien/human hybrid thing got sucked bit by bit through that tiny hole in the spaceship window.

the idea is to find movies that bounce off of eachother, citezen kane for discussions and predator for mindless entertainment.. Pulp fiction and 12 monkeys to inspire alternate story structures and the use of perception in story telling.

You will probably have to buy the Peter Jackson films online. Neither 'Meet The Feebles' nor Braindead aka Dead Alive were very well known. Meet The Feebles is a twisted laugh riot, Muppets on acid. Braindead has 11 or 12 extra minutes( the best gore comedy of the film) compared to the US release Dead Alive. Amazon has both.

Edit: both are at Amazon and ebay. Just make sure you get the Braindead, not Dead-Alive.

I don't think Meet the Feebles is even on DVD. At least not anymore. I've been looking for an age and a half.
