What are you listening to right now?
What I have shown you is reality. What you remember... that is the illusion.
The Everest of french singers

This is beauteous in an elegant way. There's a glorious softness in it.
I think i seriously really like Lady Gaga.

Alter Bridge - Broken Wings.
There is no proper way to cope, no everlasting grace.
Just a flame on a river floating away.
I think you like Alter Bridge, Danny.
I'm listening to Antimatter. I'm missing out on seeing them live in Trondheim. Sure, why not.

sometimes salvation
Somehow this doesn't get old at all. Loooove it.
Yeah, I just have to share this. A damn great instrumental song:
That was really pleasant, Imke. Thanks.
i'm listening to this on vinyl because i can, because i have it in mint condition. and it's awesome because it was banned and recalled. love it.

Guns n' Roses=shit.
ejratthke + a bad opinion of GnR = shittier shit.
who do you like...radiohead. oh give me a break.
who do you like...radiohead. oh give me a break.
That's not even an insult.
wasn't meant to be, really. what i set out to do was reiterate that I like GnR, and i don't like radiohead, like most people that consider themselves slightly "alternaive" do. they're boring.
if you're not into that style of music, than of course you won't like them. but that doesn't mean you have to be a dick for the sake of it. does it?

I don't consider myself alternative and it's not my fault that Guns n' Roses sucks. I mean, even their name sucks.
Hooray! n_n
These guys have just become my new favourite band.
!
I'm now listening to the solo stuff by Tyondai Braxton, one of the guys who's in Battles. I love it, the man's a genius! Anyone who likes a bit of prog rock or math rock or whatever should check it out-

!
I never got that into Battles. They're amazingly talented, just not my cup of tea.
I gotta say the pitch-shifted vocals do put me off a bit, but they are incredible live.

Yeah, i imagine watching them live would be unreal. I reckon it's kind of similar to jam bands, or how i feel about jam bands. I find jam bands incredibly boring to listen to, but watching them live is usually something exceptional.
they have t be amazing live. that's really the selling point, isn't it. if a band can't play and entertain live, then what's the point?
some "jam bands" can be so boring - because they're all music-y. you know? the only people inmpressed are other guitarists, sitting there being music geeks going he just went from the dorian mode to the whatever mode and then finishe don the blues scale and that's what gave it that down and out feel at the end. case he ended on the blues note. oh wow! yeahhhh! i play guitar and i find that shit boring. other "jam Bands" are fantastic. like, allman brothers, they often slip into "jams" but it is rarely ever annoying, as did Led Zepplin, right? and nowadays, the black crowes segue into major jams. but it's all fun! i'm sure a whole bunch of like prog-rock acts do it too. never could get into prog that much. not sure why.
anyway, Listening to this now, because i'm sad. My brother is moving abot 8 hours away today. this record is so sad that it becomes beautiful. Ryan Adams could sing me a death threat and it would sound enchanting.

Found Led Zeppelin's The Song Remains the Same live album on vinyl for $8.00 at my local used book and record store. It is already my favorite album ever.

sych a great album, supremo. such a great band. wow, i have all their records on vinyl.
I have pretty much every zep album on cd except for that one. I think I might go back them all up with a vinyl copy. Same with all my Black Sabbath and Pink Floyd.

oh, you have to. you simply have to. it's not the same on cd. and mp3 just kills it.
Everything I buy now is vinyl. It's more fun with the big artwork jacket than the tiny CD booklets.

My external harddrive broke, so i can only listen to Tom Waits now. A bit miffed that the fucking thing broke, but, i mean, i've still Tom Waits. And that's really all anyone ever needs.
Well, you hated guns but you love mr waits so that is a redeeming quality. Looking forward to the new record?
Heavy fucking riffs

Always. And I need no redemption from you.
don't be so fucking sad and bitter. it's all fun. so what, i like a band most people think are lame. no big deal, man. stop trying to burn me in every thread. it's old already.
i actually was genuinely excited about purchasing this today:

listened to it from start to finish, and at times it was a bit too christmas song lame but then other times it was kind of cool, dylan doing old folk songs. probaly not for anyone other than major fans but all the royalties are going to a feed america organisation. i think. but, i doubt many people will want to listen to bob dylan's gravel sing o come all ye faithfull. or here coes santa claus. my ears enjoyed it!
I like the music from this song so much:
[Double-click]
*Dances crazily*
I'm neither sad nor bitter. And i've not once tried to burn you.
