What are you listening to right now?
"It is not reason, more or less furnished, but will that makes the world march"
I am alone.
All I really ever listen to anymore is Queens Of The Stone Age and The Rolling Stones.
Black is in my top ten alltime favorite songs list. I really don't know what the other nine are, but Black is definitely in the top ten.

All I listen to is Def fucking Leppard.
OOH FA FA FA FOOLIN
Skalpel - a Polish acid/new-jazz band which was good enough to brought attention of Ninja Tune label.

Woo! If Ninja like them, they must be awesome. My favourite Ninja artist is Emika. If you don't know her, do yourself a favour and listen to her tracks. You'll thank me later.
Came in late last night and couldn't get this out of my head so I just had to listen to it!
I was listening to the Nerdist podcast. Now I'm listening to the ventilation.
love these gals
Yay! I love this so bad.
^ is awesome.
I Am Robot and I Am Proud- Something to Write Home About
I bought two albums at the weekend. Cut (The Slits) and Let England Shake (PJ Harvey).
Cut was bought on a whim and it was fun but I was a little surprised at Let England Shake. I hadn't heard much of it as I don't listen to the radio and although I liked some of the music arrangements, I was very disappointed with the lyrics and her new vocal style. It was a bit cringy. I know I'm obviously stuck in the 90s, but her music was better then.
Yeah I've been putting off listening to that PJ album too... I think I'm gonna give it a miss
I'm kind of just getting into Sufjan Stevens. Does anybody have any song suggestions, because I kind of feel overwhelmed the the number of songs he has. I don't know where to start.

For the Widows in Paradise, For the Fatherless in Ypsilanti.
I'm not a massive fan, but I think that song's excellent.
Thanks, I like that song a lot.

Thom Yorke- Eraser
Cat Power- I Found a Reason
My favorite local band from the 90's

Awesome. I too like covers.
This is my favorite. I think it's better than Eddie's.
Then this one which I think is better than The Beatles.
Then this just because it reminds me a lot of the late 90's early 00's.
I know it's Limp Bizkit, shut up.

I like covers and I love Social Distortion.
where's that stupid like button?
My friend plays in a cover band called the Tarps and they play this version. They also play a lot of other awesome, random songs.
My avatar/location reminded me of this song.

And basically every Nirvana song ever, because it's already the 5th here.
Because.
This is why we can't have nice things.
When that cover of Behind Blue Eyes came out I honestly thought it might start some sort of civil war.

HA!
Alecia, I like that cover too. Limp Bizkit was a weird phase in my life. I don't regret it, but I surely don't miss it.

I hadn't heard this in a minute.

^ that one.
I understand that well. I like that song a lot.

A good song on it's own, but the guy in the video makes it great.

I don't know why but as a joke whenever I'm with my one friend and a song comes on that I don't know, I'll ask him if it's Florence and the Machine. I think it's funny and it pisses him off to no end.

That's funny.

James and I have that joke too, only I guess ZZ Top?
From when we were first together and I couldn't ever remember who any band was, so he would quiz me with everything that came on the radio "Who's this?" until I had a reasonable grasp on who all the bands I should know about were. I never guessed right when it was ZZ Top. Eventually that was the only band that stumped me to the point that it turned into a joke.
Perfect for the storm hitting Bucharest right now.
Not the Morrison I thought it would be, nor a Pearl Jam cover, but I dug it anyway.
