They are pretty bomb.
The best thing about dreams is that fleeting moment, when you are between asleep and awake, when you don't know the difference between reality and fantasy, when for just that one moment you feel with your entire soul that the dream is reality, and it really happened.
This is another very very good one.
I had never watched that whole video. She actually made a tsunami reference? what a cunt.
yeah, i saw that video the same day i saw a screenshot of all facebook status updates saying that the earthquake in japan was karma for pearl harbor.
my faith in humanity dropped a lot that day.
Bright Eyes.
<3. That's the jam for this week.

Recently dug up my copy of Get In The Van, so I'm listening to all Black Flag all the time.

I just posted the next 5 songs on my playlist. It wouldn't let me post links. I was going to post three then one but since it won't let me post any links at all I may as well just list the next 5 songs:
Metric-Poster Of A Girl
Juliette & The Licks-I Never Got To Tell You
Morcheeba-Friction
Tegan and Sara-Are You Ten Years Ago?
Nirvana-Tourette's
"Imperfection is beauty. Madness is genius. And it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. And when it comes down to it, I let them think what they want. If they care enough to bother with what I do, I'm already better than them."-Marilyn Monroe
"You see things and say 'Why?', I dream things that never were and say 'Why not?'"-Bobby Kennedy
my faith in humanity dropped a lot that day.
I'm pretty sure I never had any faith in humanity in the first place. So I guess that put me in the negative.
Right now? Rick Astley, of course.
"Man is free the moment he wishes to be."
- Voltaire

Watched the 30th Century Man documentary today, so:
Song is kind of amazing. "Built like an outhouse, with not a brick out of place"
\m/
The National- All the wine, Lemonworld
The Tallest Man on Earth- King of Spain
Bon Iver- re: Stacks
And that one song by that one guy/ girl, that covers the last fifteen minutes or so.
"If I were to kiss you here they'd call it an act of terrorism--so let's take our pistols to bed & wake up the city at midnight like drunken bandits celebrating with a fullisade"
I keep hearing this song on the radio and I'm loving it.
Alexis Jordan - Happiness.
Specials and Buzzcocks, at the moment.
Yo man! Next time, I kick your ass! That'll be that!
Streaming the new Wild Beasts album, Smother, which comes out on Monday: http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2011/may/03/wild-beasts-smothe...
If you don't know these guys, you have to listen, and be entirely moved.
Hugh Laurie's New Orleans album.

Two Cow Garage. They aren't bad.
"I'm glad I live in the GPS era. In a different century, I would've set off to visit the other side of the village and wandered off into the mountains and been eaten by a carnivorous plant. Or discovered the Americas."
-LaJessica
Whatever my opinions on Kanye or religion are, I still find this to be one of the best and most powerful song and video combinations around.
The part at the end where the guy from the KKK is carrying the burning cross and is on fire evokes a conflicted emotional response from me. I'm amazed by his willingness to burn for what he believes in, but what he believes in is horrible.
Jamie Woon - Lady Luck.
He'll be performing at the festival I'm going to. I's gonna dance.
I'm not even that huge of a Dylan fan, but damn if this song doesn't get me every time
Tom Leykis
I enjoyed WARPAINT's song on Jools Holland last night. Listened to some more on YouTube just now and trying to figure out whether I will buy their album. I like this one...
they do a David Bowie cover thats alright too.. I think it was Ashes to Ashes?
Lately, it's always the Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Dirty lyrics + Funk/swing music with phenomenal bass just can't be beat.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
Whatever Whore!
Adele

dubstep!
YES!
What else do you like?
Anything that sounds good. I don't listen to a lot of dubstep, but love it when I hear it. I listened to this yesterday:
I usually listen to Rock and some Alt Rock, but I listen to just about anything, depending on whether or not I like the song.
