What are you listening to right now?
Nicely done Alica.
I just discovered these guys surfing around on NPR. Lemme try and get a link:

Not embeddable, sorry... kinda cool spacy/stoner rock. Reminds me of if Neko was in 2010 instead of hanging out with Andy Warhol.
You know in all the years I've been here I've never been sigged?
I love this song!
mmm, sweet reverb
I love that T Rex album.
You know in all the years I've been here I've never been sigged?
I love this song!
Me too!
It's so happy.
I'm listening to this right now:
And, now...Cold War Kids.
I thought Black River Killer was really cool.
This is why we can't have nice things.
Mom's gonna fix it all soon.
I'm digging this song:
If you're referring to the Patti Smith song, I like you a whole hell of a lot more now.

Cool, I think it's one of their best, I'd love to have seen them live
hell yeah
$2 profit in '76 was significant.

So, Patti was charging more than the Rolling Stones? Wow.
This is why we can't have nice things.
That was 78.
Pretty sure it was free.
This is why we can't have nice things.
No, I lied; it was '76.
Keep trying.

This thread is just pure torture for me now. I'm not able to see embed videos anymore, so I basically just check this thread to get rid of the "1 new".

I thought it was free to get tickets to SNL shows? maybe it wasn't back in the 70's when it was actually funny, but surely it is free now?
They've always been free.

Placebo (feat. David Bowie) - Without You I'm Nothing
One of my favorite songs ever.
I'm unclean, a libertine
And everytime you vent your spleen,
I seem to lose the power of speech,
You're slipping slowly from my reach.
You grow me like an evergreen,
You've never seen the lonely me at all
We just got out 3d telly, and it came with a bunch of new channels. We now have an "alternative" music channel.
Anyways, just listened to this on it:
Some of this:
and this:
Yes, I've been watching a lot of Moral Orel.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
Bob Dylan's latest edition of The Bootleg Series, The Witmark Demos. It's all early Dylan stuff, some unheard. And it's brilliant.
I'll soon be listening to Dylan's Mono Recordings. It's the first 8 albums all in, obviously, mono--how they were meant to be heard. I'm really looking forward to picking this up. Waiting for it to come into the record store.
Kate Bush.
Brilliant.
Brilliant.
I've been working my way through her catalogue.. listening to The Dreaming right now. She's completely bonkers, but I love her for it.

Pretty much the best Smiths compilation there is
So I guess there's not an actual film clip for this track, but this live version is pretty good. One of my fave Bowie songs.
This is a n00b-band, but this song won't let me go.
A noob-band?
This is why we can't have nice things.
Yeah, they're quite n00bie and non-pleasant most of the time.
They... seem to know what they are doing.
This is why we can't have nice things.
They're not bad musicians, I just wouldn't say they're great song writers. The song I posted, however, is greatness.

I probably posted this already somewhere, but I'm listening to it right now, and I never ever get tired of hearing it.
