You give the creepiest compliments.

I have been fiending on their new album. I dig it.

Marco V podcasts, excellent.
BTW Kings of Leon are huge in Ireland.
their new album is so good. i have been listening to it nonstop for the past week so i decided i would change it up a little and listen to some older stuff.

I've spent hours upon hours listening to music to find something I like and I have failed. Now, when I go on Pandora, it's repeating things I've already heard on each channel. I was thinking I needed something old but I'm starting to think I need something entirely new.
Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
I've noticed the same thing about Pandora. If I feel like listening to Regina Spector and the like over and over for 8 hrs, then I'll go to Pandora for that.

Pandora is great to listen to trance, but otherwise I also find that it's very repetitive.

going through my firehose discs trying to make a one-disc comp.

The new Silversun Pickups album
Bloc Party's Silent Alarm
Ludo
Frank, I think we have similar channels. I've skipped so much music, they make me stop.
However, something has changed.

pandora got pretty old yeah. i like slacker.com a lot better, try that.
Love Me Tenderly by the Felice Brothers.
Great track. Great band.
"My hopes lay shattered like a mirror on the floor
I see myself and I look really scattered
But I lived my broken dreams"
- Daniel Johnston
Kings Of Leon have some nice songs. I only like their newest stuff though.
Favourites are Closer, Sex On Fire and Manhattan.
I listened to music for hours in the car yesterday. I kept putting things on, skipping them and trying something new. My old music isn't working out for me.
I would have listened to the radio but I was so far out in the country, I lost network coverage on my phone.
Good coffee is like drinking Rock and Roll.
I'm listening to Rome right now. "Rome is a Luxembourgian neofolk/martial industrial act." They have some amazing songs.
You should definitely have a listen, though of course I can't promise it's everyone's cup of tea.
Favourite songs right now:
Querkraft
The Torture Detachment
"psycho killer" - the talking heads
"kundalini" - pig
"my ashes" - porcupine tree

She & Him
Let It Be
and i swear to god it's not me, the BABY is in a kanye west phase. i'm not kidding. he goes NUTS if either of the last 2 singles comes on the radio and dances like a rabid monkey. which of course has turned me into a huge fan of the songs Love Lockdown and Heartless. rabid monkey baby dancing is the best thing in the world - next to rabid monkey baby trying to do the robot dancing, but that only happens on rare occasions. usually it's just like watching a miniature version of joe cocker try to riverdance.
this very minute i'm listening to the birds - like the ones outside. and someone's unnecessarily loud bass.
jesus, and ted nugent. i said it, okay? i'm in a stranglehold phase (for some reason JUST THAT SONG), one that is threatening to make me attach a squirrel tail to the back of my pants and begin collecting automatic weapons.

There's nothing wrong with Kanye West. 'Graduation' is one of my favorite albums ever.

I'm listening to a group called Youngblood Brass Band because they're playing here this week and I just bought my ticket. I hadn't even heard of them until my friends said they were going so I thought I'd check them out.
one word - AWESOME!
They're kind of like a jazz version of Rage Against The Machine. I highly recommend them to anyone who likes Jazz, Hip-Hop or political rock/punk like RATM or Against Me.
!
Anberlin, the music I usually listen to after I'm alone again after having been with my boyfriend. It's one of the only things I feel like listening to then. It's comforting in a way.
I <3 this song.

moving mountains - foreword and pneuma
this will destroy you
metallica old stuff
the appleseed cast - sagarmatha
Mnemix - DB'XX'D
Badass.
I may be making a huge mistake, but I just grabbed a CD case without knowing what was in it. I'm pretty sure Gwynyth loaded it so it's really likely it will be amazingly random.
I'll have about 6 hours to work through this.

Am i the only one on the planet that likes '808s & Heartbreak'?
My favorite bands at the moment are Chiodos and Four Year Strong! Their CDs have been on a continuous loop in my car for months <3
I just wrestle with you in my dreams and wake up making love to a pillow.
Listening to the Angels & Demons score by Hans Zimmer, yet to see the film. The first track has a Goblin vibe to it, nice.
I'm listening to my "nice music" playlist on itunes
Last four songs:
Northern Lights - Goldenhorse (NZ Band)
Quiet Girl - Fly My Pretties (where a whole bunch of NZ bands collaberate in concert)
Even after all - Finlay Quaye. <3
Anyone else but you - The Mouldy Peaches (Juno Soundtrack)
There's nothing wrong with Kanye West. 'Graduation' is one of my favorite albums ever.
Am i the only one on the planet that likes '808s & Heartbreak'?
No, I liked it a lot, with the exception of roughly 2 songs.

my passion - tommorow girls
i'm going to see my passion next week
it's gonna be awesomeeee like the highlight of my month

thin does not equal beauty does not equal happiness
i love the moldy peaches, they should make music again. also, i've been jamming arcade fire a lot lately.
Jungle Book, I love you.
I second Anberlin and Imogen Heap.
And I'll add to those two:
'The Girl' and 'Hello, I'm In Delaware' by City and Colour
'I Like It Rough' by Lady Gaga
and 'Her Morning Elegance' by Oren Lavie
Obiesly Lady Gaga doesn't really fit in with those two, but I can't help but love her.
PS- FRANK! Considering you like Imogen Heap...you might like this:
Talib Kweli - Eardrum
