TV Talk
Well, I haven't watched the newest one yet, will tonight! Will have to see what goes on in that episode and then I'll get back to you.
But I was aware of the sex webcam thing already and I don't feel like he should have told anyone by now already. It doesn't really change my opinion of him either.

Normally, I wouldn't have cared. What's in the past is in the past and he certainly is under no obligation to share absolutely every little thing about himself. However, he is seeing one of those girls, and it's a little fucked up the way she finds out because it's not from him.
Also, the slew of homophobic remarks he makes throughout the season don't really help either.

gangsta or wanksta?

I watched the episode. He should've told Heather, obviously. Other than that, the way everybody's jumping on him and judging him is nuts. It's easy for them to say what he should've done. It kinda pissed me off, and I don't even really like Dustin.

I'm still wondering how the mom found out. It's also really odd that she sent the email the same day that Adam calls about it...as if the production let it leak knowing someone would say something to create drama.
Wouldn't surprise me.
2. The scene on The Office where Michael proposes to Holly was one of the best things ever put on TV.
I never really watched the show, but I just watched it on Youtube, and I have to agree, it was quite amazing. And I knew that Steve Carell was leaving, but that was an epic way to reveal it.
I am really not ready to say goodbye to Michael Scott this Thursday.
It was a good exit, I think. Sad, but nice. I guess they're going to play out this DeAngelo thing at least until the end of this season. Has it been picked up for another season, does anyone know?
i just watched that episode where he left and i lost it when jim and michael were talking and saying goodbye to each other.
i think it's because my boss left a week ago and it hit too close to home. that's kinda like how it went with us.

The next episode is Will Ferrell's last. Then it looks like Dwight attempts to take over. The last episode of this season has some pretty big guest stars (http://www.officetally.com/whats-ahead-on-the-office#more-27978), and I'm expecting one of them to take the job as new boss.
Right now, The Office is renewed for an eighth season. Granted, it's really only going to slip down from here, but depending on who gets the boss job, there might be some refreshing new stories to tell. Really, this season wouldn't have been as great if Steve wasn't leaving. Michael's courting and engagement with Holly was a major story, and The Office hasn't had one since Jim and Pam got together.
At first I was all about Ricky Gervais taking the new lead, but now I'm feeling that Jim Carrey's got great potential for the show. He hasn't done very much as of late, and it doesn't look as though he's signed up for anything...
i watched five episodes of that new show, 'happy endings' at the behest of a friend who said that that's her new favorite show. the first couple episodes were a bit rough but the rest had some really funny parts.
i didn't know that elisha cuthbert has good comedic timing.
Yeah, I felt the very same way. The show has grown on me if anything.

SO! I started watching QI, and I love it so so much.
QI (Quite Interesting) is a British comedy panel game television quiz show hosted by Stephen Fry, and featuring permanent panellist Alan Davies. Most of the questions are extremely obscure, making it unlikely that the correct answer will be given. To compensate, points are awarded not only for right answers, but also for interesting ones, regardless of whether they are right or even relate to the original question. Conversely, points are deducted from a panellist who gives "answers which are not only wrong, but pathetically obvious",[1] typically answers that are generally believed to be true but in fact are not. Points are also often deducted if an obvious joke answer is given. In addition, bonus points are often awarded or deducted for various challenges or incorrect references to a certain thing or place, varying from show to show.
I love Stephen Fry, I love learning about random things, and I think it's a very funny show. Of course it depends on who the guests are as well. Last night I saw an episode where Ruby Wax was a guest, and it just didn't work. American humor is not like British humor.
QI is so funny.
I will watch pretty much anything with Stephen Fry in, especially QI! His documentaries, acting appearances and novels are almost always brilliant. He really deserves a knighthood.
I agree Hattie. On QI I found out that the kiwi has the shortest beak in the world because they measure the beak from the nostrils to the tip. I love that random stuff. Have you seen that Last Chance to See doco?
I've posted this before, but it is so bloody funny.
For some reason I decided to give that show Terra Nova a chance. I can get behind suspending my belief over them having discovered a wormhole that goes back 85 million years but after them spending a good 20 minutes telling me how everyone's living in a brutal police state that has strict 2 children per family state policy, being caught hiding and lying about having a little kid, they're just allowed to keep it. That's bullshit!
Also, they might as well just have had each character introduce themselves by what cliche they'll be portraying.
Afterwards, I felt ashamed of the people who made that show and ashamed of myself for watching it.
Why stop there? Bust out the wizard's wand and lay down the sainthood!
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
Watching season 6 premiere of Dexter tonight and second to last episode of Breaking Bad season 4.
More love for QI
Why stop there? Bust out the wizard's wand and lay down the sainthood!
I don't think it's actually too large a request, considering Mick Jagger is a 'Sir.'

QFT.
Or Alex Ferguson, for that matter.

Watching a Party Down marathon. I had been wanting to watch it when it first came out but I'm limited to the things I can watch because every other shitty reality show is being dvr'ed. Casey's character kinda reminds me of myself.
^5 for Party Down!
Loved that show.

Anyone catch the Premiere of American Horror Story last night on FX? I did, and I thinks me going to like!
Whatever Whore!
God that show was bizarre.

Totally. The more bizarre the better, for my taste that is.
Whatever Whore!
I saw it. Looked pretty dumb to me. Like they figured if they just fling a bunch of odd scenes and some wonky camera work that they'd have a good show.
I couldn't tell you a single character's name, they were all that blank.
American Horror Story is awesome. Can't wait for the new season of the Walking Dead.
Yay Jaz!
Started watching Homeland. The second episode was on Sunday. I think I am going to like this series, which is a surprise to me. I had no interest in watching it when all the trailers were playing for the premier, and I am not usually into the whole war/CIA type stuff really. Anyone else catch it? Thoughts?
Whatever Whore!
I've watched 3 episodes of The Wire. I like it so far, I don't think it's AMAZING, but it's a good watch. I'll watch the rest of the season.
If you are not into cop shows I wouldn't bother.
So far, it's a bunch of cops trying to bust a drug ring. I think that they're just about to get into "The Wire" focus, phone tapping etc.
Hehe. I'll check it out sooner than later.

Has anyone ever watched HeartBreak High? It aired in the late 90's, and it's an Australian show about students attending Hartley High School. I absolutely adored it. Simon Baker (The Mentalist) was in it as well, playing a teacher, but I didn't realize that until 2 days ago when I started watching bits of the show again.

I miss it.
That was one of my favourite shows growing up. It was quite popular with UK teens, as most Aussie shows are here!
Not as good as My So Called Life though!
The Wonder Years is on Netflix streaming! *squeeee*
So what do you think about the sex webcam thing?
I'm still confused as to whether Zito did or did not hook up. All I know is that he admitted to oral.
Regardless, I'm pretty sure he wasn't going to say anything if he didn't have to.
I'm ashamed to say I got stuck watching the entire season on their site last night. I really hated everyone except for Zito, Leroy, and Mike... mostly. I would never hang out with any of them, though... maybe Leroy.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
Why not Mike?! He is awesome. Both him and Leroy. I didn't like the rest.
Nothing against Mike. He seems nice enough. I just don't see us going out and having a good time at the club. We might have a few beers and discuss some things, but I've befriended that kind of guy before, and they never wind up being as nice or honest once they're in a serious situation. I related a lot to Zito, but I don't think having two "always have to be right" sort of guys is a good thing. I like to have a conversation without being interrupted. Leroy was just cool and funny enough to drink with and supportive enough to feel comfortable girl-chasing with. He had good standards as a friend.
Yes, I feel gay for not wanting to hang out with the girls, but jeez they were horrible people. Even Heather. The way she handled that whole gay thing really was quite annoying to me.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
I'd just bang that Nani chick.

I thought Zito was an annoying twat.
I would agree, but intelligence plays a big role in attraction for me.
Also, the music they play on the show is awful.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
Oh yeah, they're all dumb, but if I was in Vegas and drunk and had the opportunity to get on the Real World by going back to her place to do it, I'd do it.

"She's not my girlfriend!" Oh Kevin. You will eat those words.
The two best shows ever about growing up both starred one of the Savage brothers.
Season finale if Breaking Bad was. Fucking. Awesome.

Eh, they didn't write themselves into a corner like they been known to do in the past. It was still good though. I laughed like a loon after I read the name of the episode after watching it. Not going to say anything about it, but the very very end didn't really reveal anything majorly shocking.
Oh man, YESH! The look on that old man's face...
Waiting for new seasons of shows sucks so bad.
Literally one of the best things I've ever seen on TV. Now I'm re-rewatching seasons 1-3 to hold me over for the next 9 months. The Walking Dead will help too.
