TV Talk
It's a little gay sometimes though.
Also, if you like Spin City you're in luck.
Scrubs was created by the same guys so expect every actor from that show to make a guest appearance.
Interesting. I did not know that.

Scrubs is pretty awesome. JD and Turk do act a lil gay sometimes but it's still awesome. I can never decide who my favorite character is on the show though...Dr. Cox probably.
Dr. Cox no contest!
Janitor is pretty great too.

Pffff... Jordan was the best.
You're silly. Michael Jordan was never even on the show.

Irrelevant!
But, yes he was the best.

I love it when he talks to his son.
I love it when he talks to just about anyone.
Hooch is crazy.
True but I like how you think he's talking to one of the scrubs and he's really talking to his son in his walker or lil swing thing. I was looking for a clip but couldn't find a good one.
Don't spoil it for Alicia!
Gosh I HATE Scrubs! It really gets on my nerves. I used to love it years and years ago and then one day I was watching it and something snapped in me and I was like Jesus fucking Christ stop trying to be so ZANY you bunch of pricks! I can't stand their voices and delivery and Dr. Cox's fluctuations in pitch on his rants. It's weird because I genuinely adored it until all of a sudden and then I hated it with a passion and I don't know what changed.
I can see that happening. It's how I feel about FRIENDS. Turns out Ross is the least annoying character and I hated him when I loved the show.
Now that i've been watching Friends again, it seems like Ross was always just dealing with everyone else's nonsense. Except when he married the British girl. Ross actually has all of the funniest parts.
I was reaching Friends in HD and for a while I couldn't have a conversation without relating it to Friends. It'd be like, "Blah blah blah roller derby" and I'd be all, "Hahaha remember when Monica had to learn to roller skate to work in the diner? And she fell on top of Rachel? Hahah!" It was hard to remember they weren't part of my real life.
I never really liked Scrubs, and I never watched but a few episodes of Friends when it was on.
I never got into Friends. It was too... Dumb? I guess is the word.
But hey, I'm one to talk. I watch How I Met Your Mother which is probably the modern day equivalent.
No sir. How I Met Your Mother wishes it was Friends. That show and The Big Bang Theory are the death of the traditional sitcom.
Please don't compare HIMYM to anything from Chuck Lorre. THAT man killed the sitcom with Two and a Half Men, Big Bang Theory, Mike and Molly, and Dharma and Greg.
I hate that man.
I've never seen Friends either, and our Pragmatics seminars were full of examples from this and Married With Children.
I wasn't aware that Big Bang Theory sucked! I still enjoy it.
Probably said it before, but Scrubs: Ugh!, HIMYM: Uuuugh!
Probably said it before, but Scrubs: Ugh!, HIMYM: Uuuugh!
I quite like The Big Bamg Theory too. Kind of annoys me sometimes but Sheldon is pretty funny!
Friends was so massive. At school the next day after every episode we'd all be talking about it. I had posters on my wall and everything!
I hate that man.
Is he also the genius behind the modern day classic Two Broke Girls?
"A celibate clergy is an especially good idea, because it tends to suppress any hereditary propensity toward fanaticism." -Carl Sagan
"Am I cruel? Probably. Is she an idiot? Yes." -jane s.
Nope. That's Whitney Cummings (Along with someone else. I know not who) who has her own horrible sitcom.
I could watch Whitney Cummings on mute. I think i did a couple times.

I remember going to sleepovers when I was 11 or 12 and having to watch Friends all night and just counting the minutes down before I could hit the sack. I pretended to like it for a while though.
So House is over. It was a nice ride.
I completely missed a couple of their early seasons and didn't really watch much of their last, but I paid a lot of attention to the middle ones.
Anyway. I watched the last episode and yeah, I cried.
Please tell me he caught Lupus.
He caught Lupus.
I've been watching Everybody Loves Raymond for years. Only now have I come to the conclusion that Deborah is a completely unreasonable bitch. I don't know why I never really saw that before.

But hey, I'm one to talk. I watch How I Met Your Mother which is probably the modern day equivalent.
I don't think that guy will ever tell me how he met my mother and that is just impossible because he's been telling the story for years and never got to the point. My theory is his kids are dead and on the final episode, they will show him talking to their graves or something. Or we will see their skeletons on a couch, perched up in a "no-really-I'm-listening" mode while he babbles on and on in a scary, delirious state of denial.
Sitcom Creepy Pasta!
He probably videotapes every episode himself trying to get it turned into a tv show. Otherwise, why have such a long story?
Because American TV producers would rather just drag it out as long as it's getting ratings and money's coming in than to tell a proper story and end it when it should just end already. Story's not important, you see.
I know. I was joking.
I know, right? He really deserved so much better. And she's a shitty housekeeper...straighten up that cluttered living room and tidy up that kitchen for God's sake!
Finally saw a couple episodes of the second season of Battlestar. Dope as always but the music in this show kills me as much as anything else. I actually looked up the sheet music for this because it's so simple but soooo good.
Watched the season finale of Awake a few days ago. Nate said it couldn't last. But this is some of the best writing for a television show I've ever seen. And I watch a lot of television.
I'm.... so scared of watching the season finale of House on Hulu. It's... so sad. I need it to be perfect...
Si vis pacem, para bellum
You haven't seen it yet?
No, I'm waiting to be in the perfect mood. I was too happy today. Too busy. I have to me enveloped. It's the SERIES FINALE. It must be special.
Si vis pacem, para bellum
Watch it today. You've got the perfect mood for it.
Post 1000!
I will. After a good night's sleep, though. I can't be drunk. I wanna feel every little emotion.

Yes. Scrubs is AMAZING. I told my brother about it and he and his wife (back when they weren't married but living together) ended up watching it the whole wy through.
I'll tell you the same thing I told him: skip the last season. It's a med school spinoff show with most of the main characters gone. The season finale of the second to last season is perfect though. (Read: made me tear up)
