TV Talk
Just watched an episode of Numb3rs. It was the one where Larry gets sent into space on the shuttle and it made me cry.
I have 53 episodes of Arrested Development on Netlfix to watch, BRB next year.
You're in for a great show.

Most definitely.

Oh I knew its a great show when it was first on. I just wasn't able to watch it regularly. I'm 4 episodes in and I'm looking forward to wasting the next two days watching it while I am off from work.

I read a rumor that Cassie is on the next episode of Skins. She was my favorite from the first generation. Oh wowwww....
"I'm the Mr Manager!"
Think I'm going to start watching Downton Abbey.
I also need a new anime series to watch.

Try a show called Monster.
I was actually thinking about trying that out.

Baccano is really cool. Nothing like Monster though.
False alarm, there was no Cassie. I must be turning into a real wuss though because this show does it to me every time.
For Skins and Gossip Girl: What the fuck did I just watch?
Skins: As much as I hate Mini, I feel for her this episode. Tough life, I guess.
Gossip Girl: Really? Are those scriptwriters idiots? I don't know why I'm even bothering with this anymore. Chuck should just sell the Empire, get enough money for Blair's dowry and fucking run away. And Dan can go fuck himself, or join Vanessa in Spain.
See i like Mini. I love the concept of the bitch who struggles with being one. It's probably my favorite type of character in fiction. Because really, there's no such thing as a bitch. I'm gonna start using the word 'mega' though.
I just want to know why the prejudices/stereotypes. First generation: bitchy pretty girl, loser boy, black girl who always falls for the damaged, acts like a whore and drinks herself stupid. Second generation: they laid those off for a bit, good job, because Naomi and Emily were great. Third generation: bitchy pretty girl, loser boy (Alo), black girl etc. I think that's a bit racist to be honest. Other stereotypes: gay people, the loon, the 'good kid' turned naughty (Pandora, Anwar).
I've always seen that show as kind of a farce or a satire, that may explain all of the stereotypes. The characters always seem to turn the stereotypes over. Like Franky, she's almost a different character now.
I don't know why I'm still watching it. I don't like any of the characters right now, maybe Alex. Maybe. I liked Matty.
Those who hate How I Met Your Mother tick me off sometimes. "Why hasn't he met the mother yet?"
Because it's a goddamn sitcom. Enjoy it for what it is. If he meets the mother, the show is over.

Haha! I don't hate the show but I did have this conversation with a friend the other day!
I'm sooooo super happy that Sons of Anarchy is back on telly. I'll be watching the second episode of the 4th? Season tonight.
How I Met Your Mother is the next series I am going to watch all of.

It's season 6 right now and if I had to give this season a title I'd call it
The Return of Season 1.
They reference something from the earlier seasons (mostly the first) in like every episode.
My sister broke her leg and ended up watching every episode in about 5 days. Maybe 4. All the more dramatic since she doesn't normally watch very much TV. But still... beat THAT.

I always take that as the first sign of a show no longer being good. When they have to rely on things and ideas that they had in past better shows to try and make the current one relevant or funny.
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia is doing this now, heavily. It makes me want to cry.
Cougar Town came back and Community will too. Those are pretty much the only shows I'm going to watch.
Cougartown? Geez, I don't know if we can be friends anymore.

Worth it!
I think it has one of the most ill fitting titles though.
My friendship > Cougartown.
Also I'm half way through Arrested Development. So good.

Community is back on the 15th of March!!! So exciting =D
Im glad Community is coming back and I too miss Breaking Bad.

I'm thinking about giving Sons of Anarchy a try. Is it really that good?
Whatever Whore!
YES! It is good Winnie. And the main fella is so so hot.
Me too... when's it back?
The boyf and I are nearly done with Dawson's Creek Season 2. He really likes it, weirdly.
Yes. It's Hamlet on Motorcycles.

You know when you asked for TV recommendations? I've been watching Fiday Night Lights and I thought maybe you'd like it if you haven't seen it. I am so in love with it right now! It reminds me of the same vibe as Dawson's Creek but a bit more adult. I just love it anyway, even though it's cheesy as hell sometimes!
Amazing, I'll give it a go! Thanks Amy!
Breaking Bad is back in the summertime.
Waiting is almost over for Game Of Thrones, Season Two: Fucking Everyone Dies.
Tuffy the Dump Truck may rarely increase the risk of a heart attack or stroke. The risk may be greater if you have heart disease or increased risk for heart disease (for example, due to smoking, family history of heart disease, or conditions such as high blood pressure or diabetes), or with longer use. Tuffy should not be taken right before or after heart bypass surgery. Also, Tuffy may infrequently cause serious (rarely fatal) bleeding from the stomach or intestines. This effect can occur without warning symptoms at any time while taking Tuffy. Older adults may be at higher risk for this effect. (See also Precautions and Drug Interactions sections.) Stop taking Tuffy and get medical help right away if you notice any of the following rare but serious side effects: bloody or black/tarry stools, persistent stomach/abdominal pain, vomit that looks like coffee grounds, chest/jaw/left arm pain, shortness of breath, unusual sweating, weakness on one side of the body, sudden vision changes, slurred speech. Ask your doctor if Tuffy is right for you.
Spoiler!
Some of them don't really die.
Okay Sarah and Mike, I think I'll give it a go when I get home from Joe's practice tonight. I'm excited to have a new series to watch!
Whatever Whore!
Earlier today I finished watching Arrested Development. It was a pretty good show and I'm lolling forward to the new stuff. Tomorrow I'll start HIMYM. 100+ episodes!

Steve Holt!
I finished Battlestar Galactica last night. It gets a lot of shit for the series finale. I liked it. I really did. It made a lot of sense to me. And it went pretty much in the direction that I thought it was going in. I was much more disappointed in the Lost ending. At least I feel that the writers left everything explained with BSG.
Gee, no one appreciates ambiguous endings.
While this comment of mine was brought on by the comment about Lost's ending, I do kind of agree with you that Lost was kind of sloppy in its execution of story.
But I tend to love things you can interpret...
Maybe I feel this way because I just beat Shadow of the Colossus.
What ticked me off about the Lost ending was how they kept saying "we know how it's all gonna end! We know how it's all gonna end!" but then it ended how it did and reeked of their "Knowing how it would end" was just the close up on his eye as it closed. They lied out of their asses and had no idea what they were doing all the way up till then. UGH! Fuckers! I shouldn't still be this mad after 2 years.
No, fuck you, Gossip Girl. I've wasted 4 years and a half of my life just so you'd come up with this fucking plot. Nothing is unexpected anymore and this is just bullshit. I probably won't watch it anymore till summer, only read spoilers (to see what's up with Jack and Chuck), and watch the rest of the season after my grad exams. IF I find it interesting enough.
I don't know what you're talking about as I still haven't seen any more of that show BUT the only thing I'd really want to see from them now would be Kristen Bell actually appearing in an episode. That would be dopeness.
I've always wondered why they don't at least have her in the background sometimes. Maybe watching on. I mean, it would make sense. Then, maybe they have and you just really need to pay attention...
We watched the 1st season of Boardwalk Empire last week. Very beautiful gangster series, based on a strangely neglected era (the beginning of the Prohibition). The atmosphere is superb, the stors gripping, the characters well drawn (especially the female ones), and the acting excellent (Steve Buscemi is an unexpected but very good choice, special mention to Kelly McDonald and Stephen Graham). Can't wait to see season 2.

Teenage baby momma drama.
