TV Talk
but they could rap/sing an awesome ballad about what they find inside.
You've obviously never seen the WKRP episode where they sing the commercial for Red Wrigglers, The Cadillac of Worms!

Has anybody watched In Treatment?
I'm intrigued.
I'm intrigued.
Is that the series Gabriel Byrne? If so I havent but I would watch it if it was on Irish TV.
Mhm, it is. It's supposed to be really good and I only just started watching it, after having downloaded almost the entire first season.
I'm looking forward to this-
!
uh i watched a few episodes of desperate housewives over the weekend and it was enjoyable. fun show there. don't judge me.
actually I enjoy that from time to time, it is enjoyable.
!
Oh oh oh, and new pictures from the upcoming season of Mad Men-
http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/news/zap-mad-men-s3-pictures,0,6347...
!
I definitely need to start watching Mad Men again.
i honestly thought that show wouldn't last, i thought it would go right over people's heads. i'm glad it didn't get cancelled though.
Tom Waits Big Time is on twice tonight on Ovation if anyone's interested or gets that channel or has a chance to read this post before tomorrow.
I've been enjoying Weeds recently, rented seasons 1-3 and now I'm downloading season 4.
!
everyone tells me i should weeds that but i never get around to it. i've been catching up on mad men lately, i forgot how good it is.
Weeds is an odd one, I like it but I'm not entirely sure why, it's not really all that funny. It's also a bit strange, it's a comedy drama with about twelve episodes per series, but each episode is only about twenty-five minutes long.
Mad Men on the other hand, is outstanding. I can't wait for season three.
!
I'm starting to get excited to see the new season of Curb Your Enthusiasm. And oddly enough, not even the slightest bit excited about the upcoming season of Lost. I'll probably get into the mood for it when it's about a month away but anymore it's like "Fuck you, Lost! I like you and all but abandoning me for a whole year is bullshit! I want to see other people!"
I heard the new series of Curb is going to involve a Seinfeld reunion so I'm getting pretty excited about it.
!
I started downloading the latest So You Think You Can Dance season [American version]. I'm excited. n_n
I watched the first episode of More to Love, which is The Bachelor for fat people. It's so bad it's good!
I heard the new series of Curb is going to involve a Seinfeld reunion so I'm getting pretty excited about it.
HA! i can see them doing the whole season about trying to do a reunion show and then it all falling apart at the end.

Yeah, apparently it's even going to have all the original cast as Cameos, even the guy who played Kramer! That'll be weird, wonder if they'll touch on The Incident.

I'd be really disappointed in the show if they didn't.
Especially with how many episodes in the past they've had with Larry saying the same thing and looking like a racist.
Does anyone know if Sons of Anarchy is worth watching?
I enjoyed Sons of Anarchy. Seems like halfway through the first season, they might have gotten informed that they were on the bubble for cancellation, because a lot of story lines got shortened or just cut off altogether. But overall, I found it pretty fun.
I think it would be pretty tricky, it's not something they could make fun of. In the Letterman apology Seinfeld didn't seem too pleased with the audience laughing while Richards was talking.
!
there was a link in that post but it didn't work:

Scandal? I think coverup when I hear scandal, it was definitely more an incident.
As for people laughing on Lettermans, I don't know why Kramer expected people to take him seriously when he appears on a comedy show via satellite shortly after making an ass of himself on stage. I think South Park got it right when he admits he's just not funny.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
TV is dead to me ever since i netflixed Spaced and Black Books. But i did watch Hung a few times.
So...We are still going to die. Right?
Against my better judgment I watched a little TV last night and saw House, which I liked, I had seen it before oddly enough, in the hospital...I enjoy it. Not enough to watch every damn time, but you know...
I like Rachel Maddow, I just have a serious girl-crush on her and like to hear her laugh...that's not weird, is it?! Plus she has Bill Nye the Science guy on sometimes, which fuck yea!
I also can't get enough of The First 48, and although my fav detectives are the memphis crew, those Miami fellas are fucking HAWT!
...and I NEVER miss It's On With Alexa Chung on MTV, love it!
Hot damn, new Mad Men on tomorrow night!
Of course I'll have to wait until Monday and download it. Like a CHUMP.
!
I love Top Gear

Have I Got News For You
Just about the only UK shows I can be bothered with
Sons of Anarchy was pretty good, different, and Henry Rollins is in Season 2 so that will be fun to watch.
I'm getting a little bored of Dexter.
I miss Terminator: TSCC.
I got bored of Prison Break towards the end.
I watch Lost not because I enjoy it but because I want answers!
Dollhouse was actually pretty good and I enjoyed it a great deal but I don't see it's no Firefly.
Chuck s enjoyable if completely laughable, Adam Baldwin makes that show.
Hung looks boring but I dig that his kid is in to Godhead because I used to be.
Heroes has lost it's edge, it's becoming another Lost, it's as twisty as a twister factory.
Two And A Half Men continues to bring a smile to my face.
The Big Bang Theory, surprisingly entertaining!
I am enjoying Mental right now, I should be ashamed to say that but I'm not.
The Mentalist is pretty awesome.
Lie To Me is ok, shame Tim Roth has to star alongside people barely on the C-list.
I miss Life most of all, I need more Damien Lewis.
House M.D beats everything else, no contest.
Actually I don't sit behind a PC, I sit infront of a PC, and if I'm honest I sit at a desk which happens to have a PC on it, not behind or infront of a desk, at a desk.

Have I Got News For You
Have you seen the new Charlie Brooker show on C4 (Tuesday 10 PM). It's a kind of panel/quiz show about television, it's bazaar and often very funny.
I love anything Charlie Brooker makes, he a genius. Everyone should see ScreenWipe and NewsWipe. Particularly this clip-
Skip the crap poetry at the beginning, watch from about three minutes in. The stuff with the forensic psychologist is pure, harrowing gold.
!
season premiere of dexter is pretty good. that reporter chick is fucking. hot.
Yeah I thought it was pretty good, I liked the addition of John Lithgow. I think he could make a good villian. Also, it's good that Maria and Angel are dating now because it means this season can have one pointless frustrating side-plot instead of two.
I watched a bunch of episodes of Dollhouse last night on TV and I gotta say it's pretty good. It really reminds me of an anime series (not any one in particular, just anime in general)- high sci-fi concept, lots of attractive female characters, deep(ish) questions about the nature of consciousness, even the starting sequence seemed like live-action anime.
!
i realized though that i hate every single minor character on dexter. they're all so annoying, especially angel. i like quinn and the reporter chick but they're new characters. and i liked doakes but he's not on it anymore. but yeah, the minor characters are annoying.
There are all kinds of shows premiering in this next week! I think Always Sunny and Fringe are next tuesday and the new Survivor is coming up. I'll check out the first episode of it at least to see how it looks. I know I saw like 3 other shows that looked good too, but I can't remember them now.
I was getting excited as hell about watching tv again, like, regularly.
But then I just now saw that My Name is Earl was cancelled and I am depressed as hell! Like everything just got darker or dimmer or something outside all of a sudden. It sucks!!! They ended it on a cliffhanger too! I hope another channel is able to pick it up. If that shitty Scrubs got another chance Earl should too dammit!
My Name Is Earl is such a terrible show.
But yay, I'm excited about tv again as weeeell! My favorite shows are back on, including So You Think You Can Dance, Hello Goodbye [Airport show <3] and Expeditie Robinson ["Survivor" there?]!
The only show I actually watch on tv anymore is Dexter, season 3 is currently airing and although I've already seen it I'm re-watching. My mum is watching it for the first time and needs me to explain what is going on every 10 minutes.
Of my downloaded shows, lately I've been watching The Big Bang Theory, which I'm still undecided about, and I'm about to start watching season 1 of Weeds.
There's a new episode of Dexter online now, the first of season 4, it's pretty good. I'm also downloading Mad Men as soon as they're online, it's definately my favourite show at the moment.
I've been watching a bit of Big Bang Theory when it's on TV. I think it's kind of second rate, entertaining enough but not something I'd go out of my way for. I've seen a few episodes of Chuck, that seems to be the same.
!
I'm excited about the TV coming up from September 21st! House, Desperate Housewives and Dexter.
Oh yeah, I forgot about new House. The last season was so-so, but I think it's still worth downloading. Now I don't have to go into work I've been watching episodes of Desperate Housewives over my breakfast and loving it! Not sure if I'll download it though.
!
Two new shows are starting in a few weeks time: Glee and Nurse Jackie. Either of them worth my time?
My way of keeping track of good new American shows is the TV section at the Av Club
http://www.avclub.com/features/tv-club/
They covered Nurse Jackie and it sounded alright, haven't heard of Glee.
!
I loved the first episode of Dexter season 4, can't wait until the next one.
Desperate housewives has been iffy but I feel I've invested too much to quit watching now.
House...I just need to know what happens next, but really I can take it or leave it, because every episode has the exact same pattern as the last.
I want new Bones. With more Dr. Sweets.

the entire cast of cop rock couldn't wipe Les Nessman's ass!
