Brak of Brakkonia doesn't remember Small Wonder. I don't know what's wrong with her either...
I remember it, it freaked me out a bit.
What about Underdog?
Brak of Brakkonia doesn't remember Small Wonder. I don't know what's wrong with her either...
I had a thing for Vicky the Robot. Maybe it was cuz she did everything that you told her too. Maybe it was because she had that deep voice. She was the dumpy one with the bowl haircut that always hung out with the lil girl in the red maid's outfit right??

Oh yeah?! Well, um, it's a small wonder I don't break out the cabbage cannon.
so far i remember all of these, and i hated the noozles so much. david the gnome i watched because there wasn't anything else on. i remember this disney show called 'under the umbrella tree' with an iguana, bluebird, and some woodland creature who lived in a tree. and no one remembers count duckula either. i was obsessed with that show as a kid.
Under the Umbrella Tree! The best thing to come out of Canada! It was Jacob the Blue Jay, Gloria the Gopher, and Izzy the Iguana, and Holly the Human. Great show.

Two posts in a row. Such a hog!
Ok here is a kind off recent one (five-six years) MTV used to do a lot of animated shows that lasted for one season and then got canceled. I guess they were trying to make up for the loss of Beavis and Butthead. So does anyone remember Spy Groove and/or Downtown?
I thought they were both pretty good. Spy Groove was doomed from the start but man I loved in a kind off "I'm the only one that gets this" way. They had a great line. "Total Johnny Quest!" Awesome. So does anyone remember? I think that in total they must have had like 11 episodes

I always read your name as gay-soldier. Then I have to remember it's guy-ah.
Are you a member of PETA or something?
You will never be famous.

Was SpyGroove about two suave James Bond type guys one blond and one brun? They had witty one liners and hot tubbing and such?
i don't think anybody got these but i could be wrong cause i stopped reading around page five, so:
the inhumanoids
greatest american hero
misfits of science
hard times on planet earth
marblehead manor
the wuzzles
jason and the wheeled warriors
I remember the inhumanoids thats the one with the earth creatures and the good guys in the weird organic battle suits right.
Was SpyGroove about two suave James Bond type guys one blond and one brun? They had witty one liners and hot tubbing and such?
Yeah. They were Agent 1 and Agent 2. Their main villian was Mr. Fish or something.

Haha...no. Gaea is the Greek goddess of the Earth. I'm a hippie/treehugger/environmentalist (take your pick). It is pronounced "Gaia" and some people spell it like that as well. Peace

Shasta McNasty with Jake Busey and Vern Troyer

i remember this show on pbs called 'square one'. it was a math show in the late 80s i think. the main part i remember is 'mathnet', about these two detectives who used math to solve crimes. i also remember this song that kid n play did on it about estimating.

I remember square one!
The mathnet was always at the very end of the show and it was my favorite too.
You will never be famous.
Shasta McNasty with Jake Busey and Vern Troyer
Verne Troyer was only a guest star. It was all about the Jake Busey.
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
Did anyone watch Wonderfalls before it was cancelled? Even if you didn't, u should all go pick up the DVD. Its friggin hilarious and somebody actuallly put some thought into its creation. So, naturally Fox had to nip that in the bud. Anyway, just thought id share that.
Fuck Bush!

No one remembers Robotman or Teddy Ruxpin?
Teddy Ruxpin was the bear that had the story time tapes you pop into his back and he told them to you with expressions and crap and it was creepy, yet I wanted one and never got one. And he had that sidekick with the worm that told stories too I think.

Yeah, and there was an animated series, too. The only one I remember was with this prince that turned into some massive armored monster and it creeped me out as a kid.

I remember small wonder (hated it) and teddy ruxpin (hated it)

MTV showed it before they went full "reality" TV. But the bastards only showed up to Ep12, they didn't show the finale. Took me 2 months to find the last episode on the net.

I actually liked it.

It was okay from the little I saw.
I actually liked it.
Same.
What made the whole deal worse was they advertised for the last episode, but they didn't show it. Fucking shiesty bastards.

I downloaded all the episodes and watched them all one weekend a year ago. I liked it. I don't think it would've last more than one more season, story-wise, but there's worse on tv now.

It could have. Scudworth could have made a deal with the Secret Government Employees after containing them and preserving his clones for another year before they were to be used for whatever experiment it was they were made for. Writers have pulled stranger shit out of their asses to make more shows (I always thought the Maggie shot Burns premise to be fairly outrageous for some reason, /shrug).

Burt was a childhood hero! You know, they've started re-running Trapdoor. Probably as some sort of grab for the 'ironic' student demographic.
To whoever mentioned Wonderfalls, you're absolutely right. It was a great, well-written show that showed a lot of thought and originality. Should never have been shitcanned, especially after only airing four episodes. That's just sheer idiocy.
I haven't read this whole thread, but I remember watching episodes of the famed Topo Gigio.

The downloads on this page are also worth a look, especially the main video, that has cult status to me, similar to "Mahnamahna".

i used to love 'land of the lost'.
that little girl had "crazy eyes".
i remember 'johnny quest' but didn't watch too much of it.
ahh, the good old days.
or even that pink lion that said " i'm a liiion king of the jungle evern:speechles
Snagglepuss! I just explained to my wife the other day that Snagglepuss was the first Out, raging homo cartoon character. Based on Paul Lynde, it'd be hard to argue otherwise.
God bless the days when all of our sidekicks could be ethnic stereotypes and all of our mentors could have badass names like Race Bannon.
Here's lookin' at you Haji, wherever you are...
My God, his name was Haji! That's how our troops refer to all things Middle Eastern... What would our sidekicks be named now if these rules still held?
Superman and the Hall of Justice (or something like that - predated Superfriends)
i don't think they had a Superman with the Hall of Justice before the superfriends
the first one was the series with Wendy an Marvin and the stupid scooby doo rip off crime dog
also, i wish they'd put Groovy Ghoulies back on the air
or at least the Super Harlem Globetrotters
