TV shows you remember and absolutely nobody else does
Does anybody remember Clarissa Explains It All? Looking back on that show as an adult now I realize some things.

Clarissa was a total cock tease. Sam was always climbing in through her window at all hours of the day, but did she ever let him hit it? No. The bitch was just using poor Sam to get money.

The dad was a drunk and probably always slept around with other women.
You will never be famous.

the mom was severly mentally disturbed. Today she kind of reminds me of Ricky Fitz's mom from American Beauty.

Ferguson was gay. You knew that, right?
You will never be famous.
The DJ the Cat Show
Rude Dog and the Dweebs
Captain Bucky o' Hare
Biker Mice From Mars
Adventures of Pete and Pete
Kablam!
I remember the last three.
Biker Mice from Mars always seemed like a poor man's Ninja Turtles to me. Same with the Mighty Ducks Caroon.
You will never be famous.
Aside from them being bikers and mice, it was pretty much a carbon copy of the Ninja Turtles. They even had near identical spunky female sidekicks. It was the action figures that I liked. The show blew.
Oh, there was also a show about these toys that came to life when no one was around. One was a pink elephant, one was a monster truck, one was a hot water bottle and one was an accordion. I can never remember the name though...
remember the one about the mice and the mannaquins that came to life after the store closed...... Today's Special I think.
anyone?

I know its not, but it reminds me of Bagpuss.
What about The Clangers?

They lived on the moon y'know.
biker mice from mars was awesome, I remember that show. (just read that above)
what about attack of the killer tomatoes?

Lidsville with Charles Nelson Reilly.
The second Sid and Marty Kroft show about the dangers of smoking too much weed.

I remember all of those except for the first one. I have especially fond memories of Rude Dog and the Dweebs.
Steve Buscemi guest starred in The Adventures of Pete and Pete.
THE KRANKIES KLUB
1982-84 two seasons plus two specials
Comedy. Sketch series starring husband and wife duo Janette and Ian Tough aka Wee Jimmy Krankie (Janette as a naughty schoolboy) and Ian as his father. Jimmy Cricket also appeared as did Bobby Davro in season two.
Enough said.
Steve Buscemi guest starred in The Adventures of Pete and Pete.
Iggy Pop was in it too. He played the dad of the girl who ended up in Buffy.
The Krankies still freak me out to this very day.

It's just not natural. When I'm trying to prolong an orgasm, I picture Ian slipping his love truncheon into wee little Jimmy while saying, "Who's Fab Dabby Doesy now bitch?" over and over again.
Sometimes I don't even reach an orgasm.
I'm suprised your entire groinal area hasn't lept from your body and scaled a large tree.
One of the cultists used to have them as an avatar. They were the "Yip Yips", aliens who would beam down to earth and become fascinated with some sort of device that made a noise.

OMG! It's been sooooo long since I even thought of those things! They were great.
Sometimes I feel really old, but the one thing that no one seems to remember is that on Seasme Street Snuffy used to be Big Birds "Imaginary friend" because no one but big bird EVER saw him, and then one day he revealed him to everyone and everyone knew he really existed.

Bucky, Captain Bucky O'Hare. He'd go where no ordinary rabbit would dare.

Ah-ha! None of you guys are going to remember this one, it was a BBC show I thin and there was a series of magazines about it:
The Animals of Farthing Wood!!
I remember Animals of Farthing Wood. Did they ever make it to their destination? I never saw the end.
Edit - I also want to add 'Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys'.

I was told yesterday that they made it to Farthing Wood but then the guy I was talking to got confused about the gray foxes and the red foxes.
"ProStars" a cartoon starring Bo Jackson, Michael Jordan, and Wayne Gretzky.
They were superheroes who by day were athletes and would fight crime on thier days off and the offseason.
Also Hulk Hogan's Rock N' Wrestling. WWF superstars up to thier cartoon antics and again fighting crime.

there was program about a girl from the future - her time machine was a big crystal shaped thing. she went to science lessons with a kid from now (actually the 90s), and ate a BULL'S EYE. can't remember what it was called, everyone elsed denies it's existance.
I was told yesterday that they made it to Farthing Wood but then the guy I was talking to got confused about the gray foxes and the red foxes.
I think they did, but then just had more problems once they were.
Or maybe I'm thinking of Noah's Island (the one with the big polar bear. on a desert island. because that makes sense).
Bucky, Captain Bucky O'Hare. He'd go where no ordinary rabbit would dare.
best. show. EVER.
i'm posting in this thread too much, i'll stop now (at least until someone else posts)

"In another dimension, another time and space,
A parallel universe was fallin' on its face

Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
Mutants and aliens and toads beware!
You're looking for adventure? Well, this is it,
With Jenny, Deadeye, Blinky, and Willy DuWitt
I said Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
“And now, an update on Bucky O'Hare and the Toad Wars!”
In the battle of the aniverse, you don't know what's next,
You only know amphibians have made it KOMPLEX!
When you check out your scanner and the evil that it bodes,
There's only one course of action: Let's croak us some toads!
Bucky! Captain Bucky O'Hare!
He goes where no ordinary rabbit would dare!
If your Righteous Indignation has suffered a hit
And your photon accelerator's broken a bit
And you're losing your mind, and you're having a fit
Get the funky fresh rabbit who can take care of it!

You say Bucky? I said Bucky!
Bucky O'Hare!

'15 Storeys High'. A British comedy show from back in 2002. Pretty recent, but i've never heard anyone mention it.
Its about Vince, a gormless lifeguard who lives in an appartment block. I know, I know, it sounds just riveting. But it is truly hilarious. Especially the episode where Vince attempts to decorate his bathroom from the background of a photograph in 'Readers Wives'. All the while trying to teach a pornstar (from a magazine called "Not so Big Tits: for men who don't like really big tits or really small tits") to swim and avoid her self proclaimed "psycho" boyfriend.

I always died a little inside when that bit came on.
Oh, Earthbound, you're a retro expert.
"...And you're losing your mind, and you're having a fit

*Shudder*
How would kids know what righteous indignation was?
It would make them want to expand their minds.
'Mommy, what's right-uss indication?'
OH! KIDS ARE SO CUTE!
And croak some toads of course. *Sniff* Semper Fi, soldier.
I know that you all know it but I just wanted to mention...

The Moomins freaked me out. Its that piercing stare I think. I mean sheesh la wheesh, they're holding the tools they'll bury me with!
That pic reminds me of the Three Musketeers cartoon where they were all played by dogs.

Albert? Or was that something else.
The Moomins were lovely. Especially Snufkin.
I was just looking for pics on google and got this...

Cute.
Back in the "You can't do that on Television" days, Nickelodion used to have a show called "Turkey TV. Anybody remember that?
My mom had a crush on Ted from "Hey Dude"

Dogtanian and the Muskahounds, I know someone who has all of the DVDs, additionally my mum used to have a crush on Dogtanian. She was about twenty one or so when it was out, same age as I am now. I don't have any weird cartoon crushes.
Whoa, I just now saw this. Six months late. That's awesome.
There is hope, but not for us.
Awesome TV movie: 'The Girl, The Gold Watch & Everything.' It was on once back in the early 80's, had Pam Dawber and 20+ years later I'm still sporting wood for her and fantasizing about the ability to stop time for everyone but me...
Also, there was a series, "Square Pegs" that didn't make it through a season because it was a good show. Network executives knew they had to put a stop to that, because once they let quality programming on, people would expect it and they wouldn't get away with passing off 'Cheers' as the best they had to offer.
When we call soccer 'football' the terrorists have won.
The King Arthur and Knights of Justice! cartoon. High school jocks magically travel back in time, where they act as Medieval Knights of the Round Table!

But I loved to catch this one growing up.

Thundercats ruled. But yes, everyone remembers that shit.
I have some vids of GI Joe PSAs altered to have the characters just rambling on about random shit, they're hilarious. If I can remember the link I'll post it. If any of you remember it and post it (not ebaumsworld, that only has a few of them), you'll get a cookie.
I was standing in line at a video store yesterday and saw a calendar for FRAGGLE ROCK. Not just any calendar, but a 2005 CALENDAR FOR FRAGGLE ROCK? How is that even possible? Didn't that show fart out of existence 20 years ago? They must have pre-ordered 30 years worth of trinkets and trash roll-out during the first on-air season.
