TV shows you remember and absolutely nobody else does
And yes, AGHHH! Real Monsters was cool. But the damn main character bunny thing kept pissing me off.
dude, dont diss Ickis, he was awesome.
any english or aussie peeps remember a show called 'Fat Tulip's Garden' ? cos it was seriously the coolest thing ever. Had Tony Robinson from Black Adder walking around this crazy cottage and garden telling weird stories...
also, has noone mentioned Gumby!?
Dangermouse was awesome, i think Pooka mentioned it.
Fraggle Rock anyone?
also the 'Storyteller' show was cool, i think it was done by Jim Henson .. it had John Hurt as the narrator and he'd tell like Grimms Fairytales and things..
hello and also T-Bag and the Pearls of Wisdom anyone?
and Twins of Destiny? goddamn that cartoon went on for yeaaaaars
Full House... I had a crush for Candace Cameron. What has become of her ?
She married a hockey player and now lives here in Calgary with their 3 kids.
Bonus points to anyone who remembers Kidd Video...

As a matter of fact I hav the music for it. I loved the time they entered a haunted forest with murderous hags with doll masks, scary!
All these shows are great. I spent like half an hour on that Nicklopedia thing, reminiscing about all those great old shows: Rocko's Modern Life, Ren & Stimpy, Are You Afraid of the Dark? ANyone else get creeped ou tby that one with Zeebo the clown? Anyways, I Do rememeber the Herculoids, that was the one Seppukujack was talking about earlier. I used to have a couple episodes on tape. I remember The Tomorrow People too, it was a little more "mature" than everything else I was watching at the time, but still cool.
Hey, can anyone remember that cartoon where the kid playing Nintendo was sucked inside and had a controller for a belt and had the gun for Duck Hunt and hung out with Mega Man and Mario and Kid Icarus and everything? I really want to know what it was called, so any help would be appreciated.

Anyone remember this?

I stopped watching it when I thought it gave me my first migraine. I thought there was something evil in the show that caused it.
The previous show reminds me of a way cooler show where man harnessed the power of the dinosaur and rode them. People used dinosaurs like they were fucking trucks or something, and mounted them with laser weapons. Anyone know the name of this thing?
The above also reminded me of Denver the Last Dinosaur. He rocked because he rode a skateboard and wore a jacket and stuff. He always winked at me.

I loved Denver the Last Dinosaur, my fav. character was Shades-he was quiet but he always got the chicks.

Does anyone else remember this storytelling show with James Earl Jones? I think it was called "Long Ago and Far Away" but I'm not sure. It was basically him sitting in a chair reading stories and then the stories were made into little claymation movies or something. It was an awesome contrast to me only knowing him from "Star Wars."
There is hope, but not for us.
Until now, I was convinced that it was Debra the Dinosaur...weird.

Who remembers ProStars with michael Jordan, Bo jackson and wayne Gretsky?
ProStars : probably from the same geniuses that created Rambo the animated show.

ahaha, you brits and your aussie soap obsessions ...
Does anyone remember Captin Caveman?
It was a cartoon about this furry testicle looking caveman that could pull bikes, and vending machines out of his stomach. There was also this blonde tight body in it that said, "Zowy cavey!" I think?
Also, did anyone watch the Fonz cartoon, with that space chick called Cupcakes?
The Blue Monkeys are coming
i remember a few years ago, there was this reality show called 'american high' on pbs. it was only on for one season and it was really good. it followed these kids around at some chicago high school and it was before every show on tv was a reality show. the kids in it weren't the normal jocks and nerds and shit. it was musicians and crazy kids and genius' and a gay. it was a really good show, but i already said that.

I rememer Captain Caveman. He had 3 slutty looking girls who followed him around, right?
You will never be famous.
Thank Christ for that. Yes.
Though, I only remember 1 girl?

I enjoyed that show a lot, though the commericals for it, when it was on FOX, really sucked. I think it was on FOX for a few episodes, but no one watched it, so they dropped it. I guess PBS picked it up; i remember seeing it on PBS.
~ Stick
Bobby's world sucked horribly. If only I could forget it.

and they each had to fuck the captian to get that job.

Captain Caveman is awful. They do re-runs of it on BBC I think. Yet, I somehow end up watching it everytime.
am I the only one that remembers the Super Mario Bros. show? They had real-life Mario and Luigi with little skits, and then they'd have the cartoon. And every Thursday they had the Zelda cartoon. Milli-Vanilli had a guest appearance on the cartoon portion
Oh and then there was that other Nintendo show that had some basketball player, some dungeons and dragons dude, and I think the 7up red dot guy. Anyways, at the end of the show, they always gave away some tips and tricks on several Nintendo games.

That show kicked ass.
I remember one time where Link instructs Zelda to hold his sword (which sends out a power charge) with both hands, then he pretends to be sick so he doesn't have to help clean the castle.
During the live skits, I remember people would visit their shop quite often.
What?
There was a show a lot like the X-files in the early 70's, but the guy was a reporter, and this other guy who was a detective was the skeptic. I remember an episode with this guy who was a werewolf or vampire and makes this woman get stuck inside a scalding hot shower and burn to death. Vicious black dogs come to mind from that episode. I have no idea at all what the show was called.
This is a really good idea.

Kolchak: The Night Stalker
What?
OMG my wife and I still do that routine to annoy our daughter when she's getting on our nerves. It's very funny to us anyway.
One of the cultists used to have them as an avatar. They were the "Yip Yips", aliens who would beam down to earth and become fascinated with some sort of device that made a noise.

starring the legendary captain lou albano as mario !
I loved the super mario bros. cartoon. So much more than the sonic cartoons.
I found two episodes of "You can't do that on television" and DL'ed them.
They just don't seem that funny anymore.
Only shows I like that were "cult" shows I guess are "Twin Peaks" and the brilliant "Red Dwarf". Love em.

You should've seen that one coming. Don't do stuff like that. You'll just ruin the memories you have.
I REMEMBER Ninja Turtles and Gostbusters being cool tv shows. I have'nt seen either in years but I know they would suck if I watched them now.

I was all hyped about it, I got my 9 year old brother to watch it.
He chuckled a few times but in the end He said "This isn't funny".
He wasn't lying.

Yeppers, with the great Darren McGavin.
And mention of vamps and werewolves reminds me of Dark Shadows, which is basically a supernatural soap opera.
A Vendetta production. <3

Probrably the movie, I don't think the tv show.
the guy who speaks during the opening and closing credits of Tales from the Darkside would always give me the heebee-jeebees. The theme music was very scary too. Awesome show.

Good VS. Evil
It was pretty good, but it didn't last too long.
What?

Who remembers The Tommorow People? It was a British live action TV show on Nickelodeon. It was about teenagers who can't teleport and shit.
You will never be famous.
