We need to identify things so we can identify with it. it falls in line with order, we do need it, like a line on a street, dont fucking tell me you dont look at a person and in seconds flat have a catagory for him, same with music. we need to put things in its proper place as humans, things have to make sense to us.

We needs to know that it's a tin of beans. Do we really need to know what music people listen to by the way they dress. We need street names or we could send fan male to chuck. we need to call it goth music to give pople an idea of what kind of music it is.

I guess dressing like a goth is no different from wearing your favourite bands t-shirt. your showing people what you love. But to call your self a true one just sounds like your trying to be elite to me. but maybe im wrong!

I'm not a true goth. i like punk music and rock music and evens oem of that shitty pop stuff you often catch on mtv but its to catchy not to listen to and then it drives you mad.

What i meant by "true goth," were the progenitors of the type of music like bauhaus and what not.

I dont know what a true goth is when it comes to the person, but the truest form of the music i guess one can say are the forgoers of the type.
