T'ing of Pelham, ¡Uno, Dos, Tres!

The Walter Matthau one is a great film, definitely in my top 50.
There was a TV remake in the late 90s, I think, that I never saw. Vincent D'Onofrio was in it, which I suppose would be the only reason it would be worth watching, since the first one need not be remade.
Now there's gonna be a for-real remake, like, with real people on a screen. Denzel plays Walter Matthau, John Travolta plays Robert Shaw.
I'm not sure how I feel about it yet, looks like they're changing it quite a bit. Any fans of the original here? Thoughts on the remake(s)?
