anybody got some lowdown on the newest paul thomas anderson flick? limited release is christmas time-ish but that does not help me much.

yeah, i am fucking stoked. though i hear it is a very un-PTA flick. i am sure it will still be awesome.
Last I head Dec. 26 was only NY and LA... often they dont release the wider-release info this early... sometimes they will wait to do more test screenings, other times will use the limited release as a test screening... i agree with 13thStep though, probably looking at february for most places
The reasoning behind the Dec. 26th limited release is for Oscar contention. That's why it's NY and LA only.
But yeah, I really am looking forward to this. It's been too long since PT Anderson has made a film. Sometimes that's a good thing though.
No idea, it'll probably be sometime in January or February though.
Funny, I was just talking about this film today at work.
I'm excited to see Daniel Day-Lewis working with PT Anderson, should be very interesting.
