1408
Apocalypto
The Astronaut Farmer
Shooter
Smokin Aces
Sunshine
The Astronaut Farmer was probably the best of the bunch but Sunshine was pretty good too.

I loved it. I'd recommend it to anyone that still takes my recommendations.
check out "this is england","a room for romeo brass" and "24/7"
I will.
all directed by Shane Meadows one of the best directers to come out of the UK for years
Very impressive 'special features' after the film. Wow. He really drew from his own experience there.

I'm glad to see that other people think Masters of Horror is pretty good too.
I also got The Amazing Screw-On Head while i was out of town. It's the first DVD that I've bought in a while. I still can't believe this thing fly by under my radar! Hilarious cartoon but way WAY too short and crowded. The sad thing is that it's too good and weird to ever be picked up as a regular series. If ya get the chance to see it, do. but don't pay anything over 10 bucks for it because of it's shortness.
You fiends and your DVDs.
pretty soon it'll be "You fiends and your HD-DVDs!"
The Deer Hunter special edition for myself, gave away my normal version to a friend for his birthday, also got him two wal-mart $1 dvds. A Morgan Freeman Malcolm-X film and some other extra cheesy looking one.
"They sold you hippies grunge, hip hop, now liberty activism."
On my last purchase I got
- Saw III (Director's Cut)
i bought the anna nicole vehicle Illegal Aliens, it was horrible of course and not even fun horrible, anna is clearly fucked up and you can see how they tried to work it into the scenario, she falls over a lot and stares at nothing, joanie lawry (china doll), is the bad guy and indulges in some bizarre face making, i had to shut it off about 30 minutes in.
Meeting People is Easy.
"il bouno, il brutto, il cattivo". and loved it.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - Criterion Collection (I have the normal version - but I really really wanted this one)
Rescue Me - The Third Season
The Machinist, Ive heard really good things about it here.

Im going to watch it after Ive viewed Coup De Torchon.
blah blah blah The Machinist
It's crap.
I bought 'Hedwig and the Angry Inch' a few weeks ago.
Dl'ed The King of Kong and 30 Days of Night
King of Kong was great! Can't wait till this comes out on DVD to get, just to see what all extras they have with it!
30 Days of Night was ok. I liked the atmosphere and vibe of the whole thing. But they just seemed to miss on the story somewhere. There's never any real sense that these people had to go through a full 30 days of this mess.
