The Final Destination 3D rip-off
Saw "The Final Destination 3D" yesterday. The movie sucked but, like the series itself, it entertained me greatly. BUT the thing that caught my attention was a scene where the drainage pump in a pool at a country club is accidentally superpressurized and a character swimming in the pool gets pulled down to the bottom of the pool against a drain, and his guts are sucked out through his anus.
Sound familiar?
Who else saw this movie, and who else noticed the "Guts" lift? Is this theft, or an homage? Thoughts?

That's been happening to people since they invented the swimming pool.
to say it' stolen from Guts would be like saying Backdraft ripped off The Towering Inferno because they both have fire in them.
