The 80s
The bastard child of decades, talk about all the things that made the 80s great and that which made them suck.
The good
80s music from "Atomic" to"Working for the Weekend"
80s rap was about feeling good and staying off the street and in school
Raging Bull
Blue Velvet
Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
The bad
80s music again, it's a double edged sword
Sixteen Candles
most movies from the 80s sucked actually
The ugly
Reagan
Me
Hypercolor
Sodalicious fruit snacks
the Montreal Expos
the new Improved Rubik's Cube that breaks as soon as you take it out of the box. (anyone else remember this flat, dumb fucking thing?)
Never get so attached to a poem you forget truth that lacks lyricism.
Oh and I can't forget my favorites:
Rocke Me Amadeus
Red, Red Wine
Huey Lewis and the News
and
WHAM!
Never get so attached to a poem you forget truth that lacks lyricism.
COED NAKED T SHIRTS!!! like, OMIGOD!!!

Wow. This little thread got CRAZY. People telling me to abuse my girlfriend, people showing an alarming lack of respect for women as a whole, people questioning my masculinity in some kind of bizarre machoistic pissing-contest. Hell, I even got called stuffy.
"Dong, where is my automobile?"
I need to watch that movie again, and, I need to watch that episode of Family Guy again...
"No more yanky my wanky"
Good things:
Blinding Me With Science (possibly the coolest song ever recorded)
My Little Ponies
It was the decade in which I was born, thank you
Live Aid (I think?)
Bad things:
Blush on the forehead
Breakfast Club (I don't care what anyone says, this movie just gets worse every time I watch it)
Frankly every fashion related thing at all.
There is hope, but not for us.
FERRIS BUELLER'S DAY OFF

I've just realised my avatar is from the eighties...Shit!
So, I'll amend my decision slightly by saying that some of the movies around that time was pretty cool too.
Note to myself...Change avatar.

Listening to The Smiths, or being friends with anyone who likes the The Smiths, or having sex with a really hot girl while listening to The Smiths makes you homosexual by default.
