SPUN
it was pretty nasty, good but nasty. i wouldnt buy it though
Is The Lizzie MacGuire Movie unavailable?
It's not easy having a good time.
Even smiling makes my face ache.
lizzy macguire are you joking? please say you are
not at all, shes so friggin hot man. damn lizzie damn, id watch her movie with only my underwear on
i didn't even find her attractive, that's just me though
i'd tag Lizzie's little underage ass any day of the week.
uh... Spun wasn't that great. Go was much better, i too could not watch Spun again, it was a one-time see.
fucking eh izen, ic an imagine it now her ass sticking up in the air just waiting for some penetration...its not wrong for me to think these things tho, im only like a year older or somethign...k 2 years
go was good but i didnt think it went deep enough into the real ecstasy scene, neither did groove for that matter but i think groove was the better movie
i agree, how stella got her groove back was good. of course there wasnt nearly enough emphasis on stella's groove, instead of only foucssing on how she got it back.
i liked Go thought it was awesome, not much of a drug movie per say, more of a people on drugs movie
how stella got her groove back? what??, no GROOVE the movie
now groove was sub par cause it took off thinking it could make a sequel with no stella
screw stella, she shoulda never lost it in the first place
getting back on the subject:
I really liked SPUN despite the fact that I can't think of too many people that actually liked it. I thought it was great though I have a tendency to think excrament smeared on celluloid (Plan 9, Astro-Zombies) is great as well so I don't know. The Editing I thought got a little bit annoying after awhile.
"Excuse me sir, Did you wash your hands after you took that big heaping dump. You know that sign, that sign says ALL employees MUST wash their hands after using the restroom, What part of that do you not understand?"- Malcom X
"Would you care to lick my sweaty baulz after they have been dipped in the finest venerial juices and sauteed in my own ass-sweat, madam?"- Winston Churchill
i was disappointed in spun because i thought it was going to be a serious movie and not so much a dark comedy. some of it was pretty good, but the cinematography was a little too ripped off of Aronofsky for my taste. (extreme close-ups of pupils, them laying on the floor with their heads together when they're coming down). I did gain a bit of respect for brittany murphy though.
i loved Requiem for a Dream, but didnt think this movie ripped it off in any way shape or form. there were lotsa cuts but that was to help the viewer sorta see the process of the drug and their mind
i have to agree with knoxville on that one, the movie is supposed to make you feel strung-out and geeked up, which i think it does quite well , but all in all in wasn't that great a movie
agreed
but also, it did have the russian guy from armageddon, so that gives it a couple points and knocks it up the ladder a few steps
i hated armageddon but i'll let it slide
i did too, but armageddon had the russian guy, THE RUSSIAN GUY! it was all worth it just for the russian guy
wasnt that the same russian guy from the professional?
Jean Reno is the dude, he was also in Mission Impossible.
He's about the coolest french dude i know.
havnt seent he professional (have bneen wanting to tho) but the russian guy in armageddon was in 8mm, seinfeld (the frogger episode), and the big lebowski (lead nhilist)
he was in mission impossible and armageddon? oh god how terrible, being on seinfeld must be the shit though
never knew he was in mission impossible, i think your thinking of jean reno though
yea isnt jean reno the russian guy in armageddon?

that dude isn't Russian, he's Swedish.
his name is Peter Stormare; he was in Fargo too.
ok now i'm no longer confused, i'm sure we somehow just linked some movies though
yeah, i got confused too; i didn't know which dude was the russian guy in Armegeddon, because that movie sucked and the only reason i watched the whole thing was because it was in the theater.
i've never actually seen it all the way through, and i'm very glad
i did all i could to repress the memories of it, and i guess i succeeded, cause i couldn't remember who "the russian dude" was. i like that guy, though, he should do more movies. he's a stage actor, though, mostly, broadway and such i guess....
oh i've never been to broadway, need to get there someday
i haven't been either.
i know all this because i just watched the "special edition" Fargo DVD, and it talked about him in there.
i have no desire to go see Broadway........
i dont either but going to new york would be interesting, i've never even seen fargo, i've always heard great things though
just to add to the confusion he also played a russian guy in bad boys 2.
Spun was pretty good, though like every other drug movie (Traffic and Requiem for a Dream, namely), it sells out to the "drugs are bad, mmkay?" philosophy. It'd be one thing if the message was, "this is how bad it can get," but it's usually more along the lines of "this is how bad it is." All part of the War on Some Drugs, and as enjoyable as it is, it sells itself short as masturbation for the sanctimonious. My take, anyway.

it's good but not that fantastic, i could only handle it once
