SPOILERS Lost season 4 finale SPOILERS
Wanted to start a seperate thread for this so the main one won't get infected.
Plus i think it'll be cool to be able to come here afterwards and see how accurate things were. Although this guy seems to have a pretty impressive track record.
Anyways, has anyone seen the lostfan108 spoiler that has leaked? Any thoughts or theories on it? I'll keep this first post spoiler free so if this all does go into a second page nothing will show up there and everyone will have a last chance to bail out.
it appears that abc has gotten them to take down the video but the comments pretty much reveal everything. If anyone finds the video reposted anywhere drop a link here.

to dangle a little temptation out there for those trying not to click, what's anyone think about who's in the coffin?
From what I got from the comments, it sounds pretty great. A few things answered, but not everything that could be.
Are we discussing what that guy says happens, or are we just gonna leave it covered up so people just don't stumble across it?

I think Locke in the coffin is going to be the big reveal they said would come before the end. Which is nuts! If that isn't how the finale ends, what the heck are they gonna have after that?
I was sorta surprised that Sawyer was trying to get off the island, but sacraficed himself so everyone else get get back safely. Wasn't surprised at all that the device on Keamy's arm was attached to the bomb, or that the boat blows up. That all sirta seemed a bit obvious. The big secret "frozen donkey wheel", turns out to be a frozen wheel? wtf? It moves the island apparantly? I'm only about halfway through the podcast right now, but the episode will sound pretty good.

I think I called that Locke was in the coffin somewhere in the other thread a few weeks ago. That's pretty big, but odd how it took a whole season for them to tell us that, since that was the big thing at the end of the season.

I got a feeling when they leave the orchid station that he might not realize that this is it and they are really not coming back until the pilot tells em someone has to stay. That's when it'll get all gushy and kissy and all.
I'd like the see the very last scene from this years show to be the same last scene as last years only we see the whole thing and Locke comes in after kate leaves telling them they have to go back!

But now it sounds like they might have something plausible for a reason that he's off it, i like the idea of him dying and they need to get him back to the island. The whole ressurection thing is a bit lame. (Are we going to have [i]everyone[/i] who has died show up for the series finale?ugh) And the whole thing with you not being able to die or kill yourself if the island still needs you seems to go out the window. But it's got some potential as a story.

Yeah that was really my only qualm with Locke being in the coffin is that he was very unlikely to leave the island, but I like the fact that they may have him leaving the island not by his own means. I don't remember if it was in the comments or in the podcasts, but the idea that how Ben was chipping away at the frozen wheel underneith the island, and how he put on that parka, which he was also seen waking up in the midle east in a few episodes ago. It is possible that Locke was also in the room at the same time and was teleported off of the island just like Ben was. Since the island has "moved" it may be that Ben cannot find the island again and somehow dies.

I always thought it was either Ben or Locke in the coffin. That was my intial thought about it. It got shot down by people in the Lost thread but I still thought with the theme of the show and how they go about things and especially seeing Jack the way he was in the end of the season 3 finale in the flashforwards that it would be either one of those two and that he wishes he had done something different.

Based off of the responses to the spoiler in that link I think people expect way more out of this show that what this show is capable of giving them.
Lost is great dont get me wrong, its just not some insanely profound psychologically taut hitchcock meets david lynch God of television and screen writing type thing that people seem to want it to be.
Oh and i think the polar bear is going to come back attack ben in the orchard station and force him into the time warp...it goes one way (to were charlotte finds its fossils) he goes the other way to were he hunts down sayid.
If the way to fuck with time is a giant frozen wheel so be it. Half of the things in lost are technology half are remants and artifacts so it works.
Im giving myself a big pat on the back because this was the first season finale ive seen without knowing something for sure about it, unlike say, last year, when nate mentioned it was a flashforward. anyway, apparently the predictions were pretty accurate. i actually liked the frozen donkey wheel and hope they somehow tie it back in with the blackrock boat and the 4 toed statue.
fuck, i can't wait 9 months for more lost. this blows.
