One girl I went out with in ninth grade thought our song should be "Kiss Me" by whoever and I really didn't care cause I just wanted to go out with someone. So, the song reminds me of her, but not is a sad mopey way, just a "Oh, I remember her" way.
Anything by savage garden reminds me of a eight-month relationship in tenth grade because she was a huge fan. I'm sometimes disheartened when I hear one of those songs.
Ironically, my current girl formerly had an obsession with savage garden. Not anymore, though. That's good, because I really just never cared for it. Too dull.

There are two songs that do it for me really, one for each of my past loves...
1. "Dust In The Wind" - Kansas
I know it's corny, but it's just a song that we danced to while at a bar one night. She was the first girl that was close enough to something that I could call my girlfriend. I'm not particularly fond of the song in any way, except when Will Farrell sings it in Old School.
2. "Yer Possessed" - Gordon Downie
I used to sing this to my ex-girlfriend on the phone all the time because I knew that she hated it. Also, I'm a terrible singer so it made the song that much better. It also reminds me of her because the opening lines to this song are "Go home. I'd be surprised if you could find it with those eyes." She was practically blind without her glasses. Ahhh the memories. I think I'll go listen to Coke Machine Glow right now.
