I hve been busy over at my film forum. A fellow LOTR obessor has arrived. I loved the films and nearly fainted after seeing the trailer. It left me awe-struck, speechless and in an unbelievable anxiousness for Dec. 17.
i love how they each of the movies build up they just keep gettin better, the fellowship. was really good and the two towers was even better IMO so that makes me anxious for return of the king.
The trailer made me splooge my pantalones. I can't wait.

definately the best book to movie adaptation i've ever seen so far. i understand that "Return" is going to be even better than the first 2. very excited. i'm interested in my own reaction to the movie after all is said and done. the 3rd book always seemed to be to me somewhat anti-climatic.
well, now i guess i can sit back, relax, and look forward to the thread in this forum bashing the movie when it comes out.

i watched it friday with the chinese subtitles and it was beautiful. when the good quality official version came out on monday i watched it again and my head exploded.

I am in the minority in saying I enjoyed FOTR more than I did TTT. I loved Gollum and Helkms deep but prefer the episodic structure of FOTR over TTT's build up to its giant climax.

I almost shit my pants laughing when I heard about people petitioning to have it changed. I was like, you've got to be fucking kidding me. I just don't understand how any rational person could think it necessary to change the title.

I love Aragorn and Eomer and i love the way hugo weaving talks.
i think they did an amazing job with gollum, CG special effects have come a long way.
favorite character has to be Sir Ian McKellen as Gandalf. He fits the character so well, and is an amazing actor as always.
oh yeah smiegal was great, he wasnt the least bit of annoying.
I also thought fellowship was better than the two towers. I think the heart of the story is frodo and it semed like they strayed too far away with alternate plot lines. Helms deep was cool but it's not the like the best battle scene sequence ever. It was just an ok sequence. I guess for people who have been waiting for so long to see the battle realized it was more but for me it was just ok.
I guess I would have the same reaction if I ever saw the porn fill on the big screen.

Well Helms Deep is a mild skirmish compared to Battle of Pellenore Fields in ROTK. Damn, that is going to short circuit my senses.
