Recent disappointments
I loved the new song Sing by My Chemical Romance so I downloaded the new album...
It sucks... I'm disappointed and I know that many of you are going to tell me that I should of expected this from a mall punk band.
But anyways, what has disappointed you lately in the movie, music, art world?
I've done that more times than I can count with musicians. Now I trust in just downloading the song I like and leaving it at that.
As for movies I've seen recently that've disappointed me, the first part of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a big one. Probably should've expected this, seeing as the last two were horrible, but I didn't, and I know I won't be able to resist seeing the second part.
The Reds were doing pretty good there for a bit (a very tiny bit). I really don't like baseball, but I live around Cinci, so I can't avoid it.

I freaking love the shit out of Harry Potter! The movies lost me at number two so I haven't seen any more than the bits and pieces I caught on cable.
It's a general rule that the books are always super. *Not in the case of The Godfather though...*
When's the last time you read a horrible (I'm not talking just a touch annoying or boring or both.) I'm talking about something that would make Michael Bay proud?

Did this really just happen?

House of Leaves was seriously disappointing for me. I've discovered that almost everybody on the internet loves it, so I might get flak for that.

i'm disappointed with these potato chips.
they lack ambition, aren't good for anything else except empty calories, and they hang around the house all day not doing anything. i've wasted so much of my time and money on them but they don't even bother to fucking clean the house or take out laundry. i mean, would it kill them to do the fucking dishes every once in a while? jesus christ, get the mail from the mailbox and stop being a lazy piece of shit!
so yeah, potato chips.
I was disappointed the wild cats played so crappy when they got to the final four. I was also disappointed in adulthood and materialism and strip clubs on sundays, but mostly the cats losing in the final four...
I am wearing Franks underwear. There is a gap in them.
I'm disappointed that you aren't wearing your Cujones
I've discovered the sure-fire way to never get disappointed with an album. I've never been wrong with this method: you hear a song on the radio. You think the song is good, maybe even good enough to buy the entire album even though you've heard nothing else. You go pick up the CD, and look where the song is placed on the track list. If the song is 1, 2, or 3, skip the album until you've heard something else (especially if the song is the title track), because they probably put what they feel the best material is right up front. If the song is 4-7, then there's a good chance the album will be ok because they're comfortable enough putting their catchy good stuff right in the middle, meaning you've got to listen to some other stuff first but they think you'll like that stuff. If the song is #8 or beyond, fucking go with it, the album is guaranteed to be good.
I love your take on this. I always thought I was crazy for only buying a cd if I liked track #11
There always is another method. Steal a copy of the Cd. If you like it go buy it. If not. Be glad you didn't waste your money.

I was disappointed in myself that I completely forgot to watch the Reds game the other night, when they played late in the Arizona desert. But they lost the game so it's probably just as well that I didn't see it.
