Radiohead in Boston
Last night, I was one of the fortunate to be at the tweeter center in Mansfield Ma for the first show of Radiohead's American tour, and I want to tell every Radiohead fan here just how amazing it was.
Frist off they play a shitload of tunes off of Hail to the Thief. Including opening up with 2+2=5 and Sit down, Stand up.
It was the first time that I had the priviledge to see Radiohead live and they didn't dissapoint one bit. They had a solid set list including songs from all six albums. I was also surprised at how many songs they played off of Ok Computer. Including Paranoid Android at the number three spot. Also Lucky, Airbag, and No Surprises. They also mixed in a little bit of The Bends, my favorite album when they played My Iron Lung. Halway through the show they even played Creep off of Pablo Honey.
Morning Bell and Kid A where also mixed in, with a kick ass performance of Everything in its right place.
It was an amazing show and I urge fans to go see them if they are playing anywhere near you.
"The elite ruling class wants us asleep so we'll remain a docile, apathetic herd of passive consumers, and non-participants in the true agenda of our governments - which is to keep us separate, and present an image of a world filled with irresolvable problems, that they, and only they, might one day, somewhere in the never-arriving future, be able to solve. Just stay asleep, America, keep watching TV." - Bill Hicks
They played "Creep". I nearly wet myself. It was awesome. Them playing "Creep" that is, not the near-pants wetting. Great show though. I wished they played some more Bends and a little more OK Computer, maybe a little less of Hail to the Thief, but opening ("2+2=5") and closing ("Idioteque") with such high energy was great.

I listened to an interview and Thom sounds like he's becoming fond of Creep for the time being.
Then again, I might be wrong.
when they played Creep. Was it like a new mix....or similar to that old one.
From what I've read, he hate's Creep. He's supposidly fond about making speeches before performing it. And the speeches will consist of him saying as how he doesn't know what the song is called and that he doesn't like it much, but everyone else does, so he'll sing it.
It was the same old Creep. No new mix. And much like Sushi I almost needed a new pair of pants.

What did that have to do with anything?
And that monkey in your avatar, I have held I've held one before.
No, I am not everywhere, and I like to respond, not necicarrily(sp) retort.
Retort is such a mean word.
Ubiquitous.
Necessarily.
Epony, thank you, but ubiquity was also right. I checked my spelling too.
Whoa. Touche. Never seen it spelled that way...
Learn something new every day.
Holy crap, I rhymed thrice.
I apologize.
Don't apologize, it was entertaining.
Hate Hail To The Theif, that's for sure. He hates how their music didn't change at all.
I was there...AWESOME show...Closing with Idioteque was so sweet..I don't really like creep either to be honest, but it was cool they played it..if they would have played "life in a glasshouse" and "Pact like Sardines in a crushed tinbox" It would have been literally a perfect show. Whoever started this, where are you from?
Chuck fans dig Cher
I don't like Creep.
the acoustic version isn't so bad.
I'm seein' 'em October 10th at Madison Square Garden. I'm so excited
How does Thom have serious problems?

Excellent response.

I am seeing them in September, and I am very excited.
