I didn't defend Radiohead cos -everyone- loves them, which, imo, is probably the biggest reason behind kl0pper saying they are shit. Shock value. *shrug* He knows they're popular here, so let's stir shit up and get some attention for his band, right?

i'm going to just accept the fact that i probably made an ass out of myself, but like i said there are two entire albums of theirs i refuse to listen to or have anything to do with: Kid A, and Amnesiac, and Hail To The Thief just barely made it back into my collection 'cause of a few good songs. so if you were making a reference to songs from those albums, i missed it completely

All I was trying to say is that you don't need to say something 'is' something. People do that a lot in discussions, especially on the internet.

Facts and opinions should be clearly seperated, it's a basic discusion rule.

Music taste is ENTIRELY SUBJECTIVE. In such a case, no one thing said about how good or bad a band is EVER a fact. (with exception to the following: Har Mar Superstar and The Cheeky Girls.)

This means that stating that what you are saying about a band is your opinion is REDUNDANT.

like, if I was talking about how many CDs Radiohead sold in the past year, or how many people attend their concerts, then those things would be facts. But I was talking about how good they are. Things like that can never be fact.
